What attracts you to movies, series or anime?

Many people ask me why I love anime? Or why do I watch that movie or that series when there are better ones with good social messages or something very important, which I understand is important for some people in a work of entertainment but it is not for me.
My answer to that is I watch those things to enjoy myself and get away from real life for sometime.
I know it's escapism but it is my solace. I like going into the world of make-believe or fantasy.
What about you folks what attracts you to these things?

One of the reasons I like movies is that it has high impact social events compiled together in a short period of time, there is a variety of cultures and behavioural elements you don't usually see mixed together in real life, and it progresses in a safety net that is not existent in real life action events. In James Bond, you can get shot at many times without a scratch but in real life, it leads to severe pain.

Anything, really.

I watch anime as well as regular movies and tv-shows.
And it's from anything beside the animation, drawing style of the show, the characters, the plot/premise, or something else.

Sometimes I honestly just follow the dopamine. Like they feed you a vibe you just want to stay in.

I enjoy reality shows cause I love to see a good fight. Its like WWE but more entertaining. I enjoy movies and shows that contain at least one hot actor. I can’t watch something that has NO eyecandy. I like action movies that contain road trips, adventures and giant killer ass animals. I’ll watch rom coms that I can relate to but it has to be very bubbly and sorta realistic. If its just depressing the entire film i dont care for that. I like horror comedy films as long as they leave out the unnecessary sex scenes. That gets really annoying. I could keep going but yea lol
