How can I know if I am a good rapper/writer?

Rapping, like all poetry, relies on rhythm of not just the beat itself but of the words. Remember how in English class you learned about something called iambic pentameter? The iambic meter is a good thing to look at, look at how your words come out. If you spoke them aloud without music would they still have rhythm? Count out where you’re putting the emphasis on each word, see if you have a steady rhythm of da-DAH, da-DAH, da-DAH with your writings (ie “There lived a wife at Ush-er’s well” has a consistent rhythm of THERE lived A wife AT ush-ER’s well, if that makes sense).

get an internship at a record company. Within a few months someone will be willing to look at your stuff and point you in a direction. That's about all they'll do, but it will be enough for you to know whether you have a future in it

Hopefully you aren't trying to get into the industry... The rap industry really isn't about talent. I knew a lot of talented people growing up. Two had connections to the industry and were able to get their music in front of people at Sony and Bad Boy, but they didn't have the right salable image to get past that. Worse yet most of the industry isn't even about talent at all, it's about power. There are a bunch of satanic faggots that want control of people. You sign a deal with the devil so to speak and they expect absolute obedience. Some people will sell their soul for power and money...
