How can I know if I am a good artist/have a talent?

I have Asperger syndrome (have a different understanding of shapes and patterns than neurotypicals or so I heard) and I don't have enough artistic knowledge or background in any way so I don't really know how to evaluate art, after a years-long break, I started drawing again, I love drawing geometric arts and think about publishing/sharing or even selling my work if I get the chance but... I don't know if what I am doing is good/special in any way. how to know that am not overestimating/glorifying my work (it is just in my head sort of thing)?

Wow dude, that artwork is sick! Like seriously cool geometric patterns and shapes. Your Asperger's probably helps you design stuff like that in a really unique way.

A few things that tell me you've definitely got artistic skill/talent:

- The detail and precision in all the lines/angles is really impressive. I can barely draw a straight line! Takes talent to make stuff so symmetrical.

- There's definitely your own style to it. I can tell just by looking it's your creation, not just copying stuff. Having a signature style is a sign of an "artist."

- You said you love doing it, even took time off but got back into it. Artists usually feel pulled to create because it comes naturally to them.

- The fact you want to share your work shows confidence in your abilities too. Most people wouldn't put themselves out there unless they thought their stuff was good enough.

I'd say go for showcasing/selling your geometric designs, dude! From what I can see, you got some real talent. Don't doubt yourself. Just get out there and let other people decide how great your art is too. With your skills, I bet people will love it! Keep it up man.

Wow. thanks for the encouragement and kind words, the reason I stopped a couple of years ago is I showed my work to a few people and all the comments I got were so strange like
"I feel dizzy looking at it"
"That is a hell of a lot of triangles"
"that is so many lines"
"is that a crystal in the middle"

it made it feel pointless, it was like we were looking at two different things, people calling it "abstract" gave me the feeling they were looking at something they didn't understand... it was frustrating.

so thanks again for your kind words, I am glad someone appreciates what I do, and I will surely keep working on it.

Abstract art be a different wave, some folks ain't tapped in enough to vibe wit it. But yo shapes be fly as hell g, don't let the haters dim ya shine.

Keep doin yo thang, ion wanna see ya stoppin yo flow cuz few lame comments shook ya swagger. Yo art, yo rules - express yoself however feels right my slime!

An I know it for suuure ain't no easy ting wit the 'berger's either. But you fought through obstacles already to let yo creativity flow free. That strength right there proof you livin in ya purpose gang.

If you were to colour this image you showed us, I believe you could be a very successful artist. Without colour, you could also succeed, but a lot of people lack imagination and don't understand how something is valuable unless you tell them, and colour, shows why your work is valuable.
