Is it really a bad and sad thing to not be able to experience life, shows, and music in the 70s/80s/90s?

I feel being born later can feel like a drag and miserable when they are people who are older who have experienced and been around in earlier time periods who either this narrative of being nostalgic of past times like the 70s through the 90s of living in a world before social media, everyone speaks of how fun the world was before iPhones came into existence and the way things were back then especially with music like they say you had to be there or say they feel bad for the kids later who were born after the 90s to not experience times like those did before, and even see music artists in their prime in those times coming on the scene like from the 70s in music artists: they had Stevie wonder and Michael Jackson, shows before the world became PC like Sanford and son, the Jefferson’s, and Good Times. I know it was a Different era and time. People were not as woke as today and you can laugh and enjoy good comedy.

Also not seeing artists in the 80s and 90s were in their prime like Janet, Prince, Usher, Mary J, Aaliyah, TLC, and being born seeing them older and pretty much faded out or retired sucks to see, all I could do is look at videos of them that I wish to see in real time when it was happening. I came across this music video of Usher at 16 called Think of You, I really like the beat and melody of it that has that classic 90s R&B sound to it which makes me depressed to experience the music like that come out in the 90s:

Even combat sports like Boxing nowadays is watered down and not popular like it used to back in the day when Ali, Tyson, and Foreman were fighting then. Everyone spoke of how Tyson came on the scene then, he was very popular and he was like enigma and phenomenon boxing in the 80s and must see at the time that I wish was there to see him box when he was in the 80s and 90s besides seeing him as a retired older man now.
