Reading between the lines it seems he smashed it because she endorsed Harris. Seems quite a childish thing for a grown man to do and one would question the mentality of the baying crowd.

Given I can't play guitar I'd either sell it or make someone happy at Christmas.

Not necessarily. People have hated on a lot of popular acts because they didn't like their music. There was an anti-disco event before a ball game many years ago where a local DJ blew up a bunch of disco records.

I actually unironically like Taylor Swift’s music, sure it’s cheesy sometimes, but it has a good rhythm to it.

Heck back when I was a kid all I listened to was Taylor Swift, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Three Days Grace, etc.
