I’m not too much as a tenor, I’m more of a baritone. Actually, I don’t think I know what MY singing voice even is, in the sense that I just sing at karaoke or along with the music in my car lmao, and I’m really just mimicking the original singer, and not doing my own rendition.

I’m a casual singer, never trained, never in a school chorus or anything like that, so I’ve never assessed my range. I can either sing along and blend in with the real singer (in sing-along situations) without my voice cracking or I can’t, haha. If you just handed me sheet music for a song I don’t know, I’d be lost😂

HOWEVAHHH…my secret karaoke weapon is having a pretty solid falsetto (starting to question it as I get older though, haha…might just need practice).

But my proudest karaoke moment was singing Reasons by Earth, Wind, & Fire, in Philip Bailey falsetto, and I don’t think it was the right crowd, they looked a little confused. But the DJ got it, and he goes, I just want to play you the real song for a second so y’all understand how close he was…”, and played like ten seconds of the song or whatever. I appreciated that😂

So…I can sing pretty high, not flawlessly, there’s a certain range I need to stay in, and I need to be careful about having full lungs at all times, kind of barely using the air, or only as much as you need, but still refilling, even if I’m 9.9/10 full, at every reasonable opportunity…tough to put into words. And also tough to describe is the manipulation of my vocal cords, but that has to be precisely managed too.

I can ALMOST pull off Take On Me, but, but at his highest 🎶I’llllll beeeee gooonnneeeee, in a… *dayyyyyyyyyyyyyy*🎶 at the very end, I can’t match that…

And then there’s a pretty big gap before I can be considered a reasonably sufficient again, haha. Eddie Vedder, Darius Rucker, I’m comfortable in their range, just not as good as them😅 You have no idea how badly I wish I could sing a BANGER like My Own Worst Enemy, but I’m SO BAD with the hook…

You’re probably like “who is this old dinosaur and his geriatric music collection?”😂😂😂 Sorry, it’s what I mostly know, at least for singable music😅 But if you want to see some olds go crazy, throw some of this stuff on, lmfao

But yeah, long story still really long, if falsetto counts, then yes, I can sing very high. If it doesn’t, I can’t sing very high at all. It’s falsetto or bust😝

Not very high at all. When I was in high school I was in choir and took voice lessons, and with regular practice my falsetto range went rather high, even though I'm a bass. Now that I'm over a decade out of practice my falsetto range is mostly gone.

Not high at all, I can't make high noises, some people make girl screams, i dont know how, but I think i only have the 4 levels of low vocal cords but my voice idles at 3
