Did you play "paint" when you were young?

When I was young, we used actual paint!

Since my first degree was in graphics and communications, I learned that while the MEANS of creating images may have changed over the 7 decades of my life, the principles and goals of creating them did NOT.

If someone doesn't understand the principles of primary and complementary colors, tints and shades, etc., they will be totally lost whether using paints, light (just invert the additive/subtractive relationship), or computer.

Yes and no. I usually drew with pencils. And on the computer it was called Deluxe Paint. :-)

Back when computers used to make all kinds of weird noises while they took forever to start up. 😂

Absolutely! I used to spend hours using Microsoft Paint on Windows. It was such a fun and creative outlet for a young artist like me. I loved experimenting with different colors and tools, which fueled my passion for drawing and art. 🎨✨

Yes!! I did A lot of this when I was a child. Challenging but it was fun. Childhood memories

Yes. Some examples: (1) drew lego blocks, and moved them together (2) created stills of an animation (and used PPT to 'play' the animation)
