I was playing with some of the kids in the apartment complex that we lived in at the time, I was gone for hours. I was in big trouble when I finally decided to go back to my family's apartment, my mom didn't let us play outside with the neighborhood kids after that. 😂
A few years later, we moved kinda far away, into a big house that was on an acre of land. So, that was when I started playing outside again. 😄63 Reply- +1 y
Yeah, now I get it was kinda stupid. I didn't leave the complex, but by the time I was ready to go home, this girl (she about twice my age) invited me to watch a movie in her apartment and I just remember thinking that I've already been gone a long time, I can't stay and watch a movie. Looking back on it, that girl could've been a creep or some shit, so it's a good thing that I went home when I did.

Summertime right after breakfast outside would not be back until I was forced to come back for lunch after lunch back outside would not come back until dinner time get yelled at for being so dirty so messy right after dinner back outside get yelled at more for getting more dirty
Back in the house take a bath watch hour so TV to bed and started all over the next morning
Even if it was raining it would be hard to keep us inside.
I was a true boy it didn't matter what we were doing but we were getting dirty doing it and having fun and I'm basically the same way to this day I hate being inside even when it's snowing hard I go outside12 Reply- +1 y
Yes that's exactly right and as you're leaving my mom would yell. you don't get dirty.. huh? Lol
A few months back I had something wrong with doctor's didn't have a clue . what was going on with me wanted me to take a bunch of pills.. I said no couple days later
A friend calls me up and said his transmission went out on this truck you can't afford to have a shot put one in for him he said all he had was a couple hundred bucks for me he asked me if I could please help them he has kids and they got to get to school and you know just do family stuff
It's a four-wheel drive truck with a 6-in lift on it and he Parks it on a slant so the front end is way up in the air now and he Parks it in the dirt so now everything's hard to reach I'm going to get filthy dirty but rolling around in that dirt I put down some cardboard but when you have to reach as high as you have to reach to get both out I mean it's just impossible you're going to kick the cardboard out but anyway I had to roll around and dirt for probably about 2 days and I noticed after the first day I felt different and after the second day I really felt different and I think it had something to do with dirt LOL because it has all the irons and minerals and things that we need for our bodies and hurts good for you LOL look at kids nowadays they get a lot sicker than like our generation and because their immune system is way different so anyway I think it was the dirt that fixed me I'm not sure but I'll roll around and dirt any day now LOL LMAO it's true though you can always take a shower
535 opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. Yes. When I was but a young boy, there was a group of other kids around my age living close by. We all had pushbikes and we used to ride around and explore the neighborhood. Occasionally we would go to the local park and play soccer, cricket or rugby league. The ones I was closest with also used to throw the odd party on the weekend and their parents would get pizza or do a bbq and we would stay up until the sun came up playing videogames on Nintendo Entertainment System or Sega Mega Drive. We also used to spend the hottest days indoors watching the best movies and professional wrestling of the 1980s and early to mid 90s because that is the time period it was.
Those were the days and they shall never return.

+1 yI played often with my friends outside, and sometimes inside alone or with my friends.
We would play hide and seek, red light green light, many other stupid games like that, go to the park, go to the store for candy and drinks. Ride bikes, play street hockey, basket ball, baseball, etc. Play karaoke, video games, pool, barbies, air hockey, play with easy bake oven. I had a very good childhood because my parents bought us most things we wanted just they drank too much and fought too much.20 Reply1.1K opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. I used to play outside back home. Then I moved to another country and kids started bullying me and showed me what racism is. So, I start playing indoors with my toys.
Used to pretend that I was a teacher, even had a list of students. 😂😂
13 ReplyThere were 3 boys and I in the neighborhood. I was the youngest so basically I tagged along until they got to the oldest one’s house. The three kids were allowed inside but for some unknown reason I wasn’t allowed in. She blocked the door when I tried to go in to follow them but she blocked me and just made small talk until the others came out. To this day I don’t know why and I asked her when I saw her and she mumbled on and carried the conversation to something else. Most of the time however I stayed in and played with my knight rider voice car or my big metal general Lee or my transformers or my big metal Airwolf helicopter. Played Atari 2600 with my dad, my niece and my brother in law. Later it went to Nintendo and Super Nintendo.
10 Reply1.1K opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. I played with other kids lol all the time we rode bikes and raced around the block and killed bugs. I miss them days and we fought eachother a lot but we got. along days later but slotta fades where caught st 8 years old hahaa I rmbr when we first moved in we had to fight my niggas who are my homies now since children to play on the toys hahaha
I rmbr being a nice kid never wanting to fight but it was mandatory and my little bro ran his mouth a lot so we was fighting a lot hahaha but it was fun as kid even though I grew up to hate that shitty ass town.

+1 yLittle bit of both, though there weren't many kids my age in my neighborhood growing up- mostly nieces or grandchildren of the neighbors that visited in the summertime.
And even then, my mom wouldn't let me play with them all the time because she thought they'd be a bad influence on me (my mom was very overprotective, though as I get older, I understand her logic more).
So I played inside mostly, or with my siblings.20 Reply 805 opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. I played outdoors a lot with the kids on the street. We ran around the neighborhood playing army with toy guns, swam in the neighbor's pool, played sports in the street and vacant lots, rode our bikes, went to the local parks. Sometimes we would play in our back yards. Sometimes I watched TV or played board games with my sister. I also liked to play with my toy dinosaurs.

+1 yonly ONCE outdoor group. crazy story. on my first day in pre-first at recess my classmates argued who should be chaser "it" to chase and "tag" others. for a couple minutes they argued and were not playing so i volunteered to be it. i started chasing a kid on the paved lot. meanwhile all went the other way. he reached a fence and waited until i neared him , then dodged aside, running to... an empty part. all the other kids had left and hid to avoid tag. seeing he was alone he stood and said "tag me" i tagged his arm. and ran away toward the fence... but he was not chasing me. he also hid. so i went indoors and never tried to play in a group.

10 Reply 3.8K opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. I grew up in the 70s and 80s. I usually played outside with the other kids from the neighborhood. We did stuff that I would never want my own kids to do but we had a lot of fun. Thankfully we never got arrested.
12 ReplyI played with friends. Rode bikes a LOT. Also stayed inside and built Lego or built models.

In my first house: played alone with toys, sometimes I would try to do something on our computer.Second house: spent lots of time outside with neighbour kids, but still quite a lot of time indoors doing my own games.
10 ReplyI used to be a loner so I didn't play with other kids much. I mostly played with my best friend tho both inside and outside. We were making leaf potions, building secret houses, role playing and playing with Barbies and MH dolls.
