Oh boy…. tough to narrow that down. Why don’t you ask what the best pizza in the city is too?😂

Off the top of my head, I’d probably start with The Warriors, Juice, and New Jack City. Ghostbusters probably warrants some consideration too, the scene of the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man stomping through Manhattan is iconic.

And maybe another personal favorite (can never just pick one, lmao) is a smaller-time movie called Made. Actually has some fairly big names in it (Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau, Peter Falk, and of course, persona non grata du jour, Diddy), but was kind of a low-budget, under-the-radar movie. Has some great quotes in it though (not all of them hold up as far as being PC, but I can still laugh), and Vince Vaughn is peak Vince Vaughn.

He and Favreau are “one-bit” criminals basically working cover jobs doing construction and whatnot for some mob boss. Favreau is responsible and on the up-and-up, just trying to get by, and Vaughn basically is allowed to tag along but the boss thinks he’s a moron (he is, lmao). Vaughn is a knucklehead in it for the prestige, Favreau is just a relatively honest guy desperate to make money.

They finally get their big break and get sent to NYC for some vague “job” where they ultimately meet with their boss’ NYC counterpart (Diddy), and they’re given $1,500 each as a per diem, and Vince Vaughn thinks he’s “made” (that’s the title!😮😝) and is just being a colossal asshole the whole time, as Favreau tries to keep him in line and just do whatever their job turns out to be.

We probably aren’t supposed to laugh at the “subway” joke, but I still do, because of Vince Vaughn’s delivery😅😂
