I can't stand them honestly
😭 I was actually gonna ask this on GaG last week before I got sick, but you beat me to it, lol.
Before you read how I feel about those kinds of movies... just a heads-up — I’m gonna reveal a bit about Shutter Island. So, if you haven’t seen it and still want to 😶

Couple of movies really got to me. The first was Zodiac — the ending confused the hell out of me, and then I found out it was based on a real-life case, which honestly made it even more unsettling.
The other one that messed with my head for like 2–3 days was Shutter Island. I kept thinking- “What even happened?” That open-ended stuff drove me crazy. I ended up watching a bunch of YouTube videos where people were debating whether he actually relapsed or just pretended to. I even read a few articles to see if others thought the same — that he came back to his senses but chose not to live with the guilt and pain.
I was so frustrated and felt so unsatisfied 😭 Movies with endings that are open to interpretation always leave a bitter taste in my mouth.
Yeah I feel that. I feel the same. I genuinely can't stand them. Wish movies had a disclaimer about them, because then I wouldn't watch them. I just watched Triangle of Sadness and that was one of the most unsatisfying endings.
I can't stand them either. "That was two hours of my life I’ll never get back"- is how I felt after watching it. Honestly, I could’ve stared at a wall and had a more satisfying experience 😑
I just watched the trailer of Triangle Of Sadness and it kinda gave me Knives Out vibe. Thanks to you, I won't bother watching it.
Not really…. it leaves me confused and wanting to solve the mystery. I understand that the director wants to leave it open to the audience, so there is a possibility of multiple endings. However, just like The Inception, not knowing which is the right one (if there is) kind of bugs me.

They usually piss me off when it is becoming evident that it's going to end like that. So no!
It depends if it's well done yes :). Like Inception I thought the ending was great.
I hate them
