We got to have a few readers here. just curious if any books you read ever made you emotional? kinda in a way a movie or song could? What books did it for you? try not to spoil anything cause i may want to read it too.

My favourite book, My Heart And Other Black Holes, makes me cry almost every time I read it. It’s a story about two traumatised people who make a suicide pact and make a plan to die together. They fall in love and one of them decides that she doesn’t want to die anymore, because she’s found something to live for (him). However, he goes behind her back and attempts to end his life. He survives though.

I recall the secret life of bees made me teary eyed And so did bridge to terabithia

There are others for sure but these too stand out for making me feel really sad as if it was happening to me.
