  At any rate, I hate Stairway to Heaven. I think it's one of the most overrated songs in the entire history of overrated songs and the fact that Bob Plant, the guy who "wrote" the song hates it almost as much as I do fills me with glee. So I don't really care who does it.

  Robert Plant is one of my faves. I'm not a big fan of the song but I do like LZ version better.

  I'm quite certain that in terms of sound and feel, Zeppelin is better. Just thinking back to it, I don't know if it would fit Dolly's general sound, even if she doctored it up. Shine, on the other hand, was a good cover. The original was just better by a long shot.
