Lol... ok ok, I hear you. I just think it's funny my gal Dolly sang it. I came across a few surprising songs earlier today while looking up "Jolene".

Wow, I had no idea she covered that song. I really enjoy Collective Soul. To have one their songs covered by country music royalty is quite the compliment to them.

My mom too. EXCEPT "Islands in the Stream" which was on her FORBOTTEN LIST. If she heard the intro she switched it off. She said she didn't want a young lady getting ideas. (That was me... but I was what... NINE? Smh. I'd no idea what the song was about. I just thought it was odd she liked Dolly and she liked Kenny... they were both singing and she'd just switch it off. Catchy tune, though.) 😂 😂 😂
