I have an epic novel idea I've had bouncing around in my head for well, decades I guess, so I was wondering what types of fiction other people read.

Mostly I've been reading nonfiction, but I'm a hundred pages into "The Master Butchers Singing Club" by Louise Erdrich and enjoying it. This is the first novel I've enjoyed for a while. I used to read constantly but not as much anymore.
