Does anyone else really enjoy the Shrek movies and why?

I personally love cartoons, Disney movies and other movies. I think the storyline is clever and it teaches a lot of lessons, as well as being fun and the characters being sort of cute, like ugly dogs are cute.

I totally get you, I adore the Shrek movies too 😄 The humor works on two levels, so as a kid it’s fun and silly, but as an adult you catch all the satire and references. It flips fairy-tale clichés, shows that looks don’t define worth, and that love and friendship are messy but real. Plus, Donkey and Puss are iconic 🐸✨

I have children of a certain age. There was A LOT of Shrek. Mainly the first one. About 50 times.

Seriously, when my daughter was 5 months old the only thing that would get her back to sleep in the middle of the night was Shrek.

I have and love the Shrek movies. They are just great movies. I lobe Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, and John Lithgow (who is from my hometown of Rochester NY). Which is where I live.
