Do you like Marvel movies?

I hate to say it, but sitting through a Marvel movie is like torture to me 💀

I used to be friends with someone who was a big fan so I’ve gone to the movies with him to see some of them. They weren’t horrible but I just can’t get into it. They’re all the same too. Oh no something’s attacking the city and the superhero’s need to save the day! There’s 100 movies with that same plot and everyone just eats it up every time 💀

They’re all like 3 fucking hours long too, like is that really necessary?

The only comic book movie that I've really enjoyed was Joker (and yes I know that’s DC and not Marvel but same concept)

No disrespect to those who are fans because I know they have a really big fandom. If that’s what you’re into, then period. Pop off.
And good for you if you were devoted enough to see every single one of them. But if you’re not caught up, good luck trying to catch up babe…

I would be so god damn mad if one of them threw me car at an enemy. I don’t give a fuck if it’s to save the city. You could be trying to save the WORLD, I don’t care.
The avengers be like “we saved everyone!” While the whole city is destroyed from their antics. Like come on now…

I wasn't really into them until Thor ragnarok and infinity war... Infinity war was peak super hero movies... And they wrapped up the entire saga really well with endgame ( and infinity war previously ) ... And then phase 4 came out... It's obviously dogshit... They're just selling out at this point... I officially lost interest in the mcu... The multiverse saga was botched and not a single character is likable lol... Way.. Waaay too much diversity casting, female empowerment and cheesy marvel humor... Sooo cringe... I might come back again for secret wars tho...

however, I might be watching that one called End Game or something... whichever arc that had Thanos

I watched one movie at a church party and it ended on a cliff hanger so I am not going to see another one cause I do not pay for cliff-hangers, I pay for finished stories with appealing resolutions.

I like some Marvel movies like Infinity War. I can watch that over and over again. I like the Spider-Man movies as well. Doctor Strange was good. Part 2 was okay.

I grew up reading about these characters and it was cool to see them come to life on the big screen. For ten years I looked forward to the next one. The Winter Soldier was my fave and i liked how it was all tied up with a bow with Endgame. The recent ones seem like just a cash grab. I have not seen the latest Ant Man but I heard it was not good

The MCU peaked at Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Everything until Endgame was hit or miss and everything since has been insufferable.

I really enjoyed the MCU up to the infinity war, and it was one of my favorite movies. Then the plot completely fell apart in Endgame, and the later movies were not interseting to me

I like most of the old ones but the number of good ones dwindle. I would actually say that true for all movies not just marvel.

Most of them seem to be extra long and ridiculously predictable. Not as predictable as a Hallmark Christmas movie, but getting there.
