Do you find marvel movies boring now?

Don’t get me wrong I’ve been watching marvel movies since the early 2000s til today. I’ve watched Black Panther, Thor movies, Iron Man movies, Hulk, Dr. Strange, Avengers, Spider-Man, etc. Maybe it’s just me adjusting as I’m getting older or maybe the plot seems predicable because Hollywood keeps remaking these films with different actors but it’s not appealing to me as it once did.

I will watch them with my younger family members but majority of my guy friends don’t meet up anymore and they don’t care about marvel movies as much. Do you still like marvel movies or have you gotten tired of them?

I didn't see most of them.

I saw 1 Black Panther, Thor and Hulk film, all of which were shit.

I remember enjoy Xmen at the time but maybe I'd think the same as you if i watched them again now, that was along time ago.

Hollywood can't make films for shit, its always the same old bullshit the only thing that changes is the wardrobe.

The best example I can think of is Disney's Manalorian, it is literally one cliched scene after another from start to finish.

It really frustrates me and kind of boggles my mind why they do so many of the things really well, the costumes, settings, sound and visual effects etc are all great but when it comes to anything of substance they just pull some shit of the shelf and say fuck it, that will do.

Why?

There can only be countless gifted story tellers and writers out there who have no doubt submitted really interesting works to these people and it just doesn't get made.

The stock explaination for this is that doing anything new is seen as a risk.

But whatever the reason, its actually just shockingly bad, I find it hard to understand how these people can be so shit at their jobs.

I've pretty much lost interest in them. The MCU peaked somewhere around Captain America 2 & 3, and should've gone full stop after Endgame to get some decent writing, and also let people recover from superhero movie fatigue. Basically everything since then has been disposable content for the sake of content, poorly written, wastes a mostly talented acting roster, and they seem to forget that entertainment is supposed to be escapism rather than a political sermon.

I like them more for the "ride" than the "journey." They make good flickering images to vegitate to so I can distract my eyes while i think of other things.

I still like them but it feels like they are just milking the franchise.

Marvel has been dogshit since Endgame really... And it was also mediocre until half way before infinity war...
