Yes it does apply to me as I do have a very young fiancée. As usual
too many people on this board want denigrate everything anyone says.
I would beat my meat forever before I'd marry this baggage laden woman.

Good for you, kind sir. I am far from a baggage ridden woman. I am an independent mother of two who is only looking out for my children's best interests. Do I have hateful moments? Absolutely! Everything that I had planned got shot out the window because of another woman filling the void in my ex's life that I didn't realize was there in the first place. Was it my fault? Damn straight it was. Do I blame him? Not in the least. I worked so much to support both him and our children that I didn't realize how far he was drifting away from me. My idea of a perfect home environment was shattered when another woman took my place. My kids are going to blame me for that when they get older, just like they will someday blame me for their fathers lack of presence. I am not looking for a man to fill his shoes. My children will know no other man as "daddy" besides their father. Does that mean that men (not you) have the right to tell me that I focus too much on my children? No. That's being a mom.

I have had a couple men come into my life (that I never introduced to my babies) say that they couldn't stick around because of my "baggage". You know what that baggage consisted of? Me not pawning off my children for a week or two at a time so I could hang out with this man. Hence, why I got angry and posted this mytake. Out of pure anger and frustration. So no, I do not consider myself baggage. I consider myself a mother whom is single and afraid of doing wrong by my children. What kind of mother would I be if I put any man above my own babies?

Any man who dates an irrespobsible, selfish little twerp like you is a damn fool. I'll be
damned if I'd ever play second best to another man's kids. No sane man would, So you settle for
your little beta boys, never spend any good time with them without your kids and see how long
they hang around. As for sending your kids off for a week or two alone with you, that's entirely
reasonable in my opinion. The way your conducting yourself plays into the sterotype of the single mother.
And yes sweetie, kids are baggage that most single men wisely choose not to deal with. They aren't wrong.
