"Trans people just want to feel accepted as trans people" What does that even mean? I think most trans people want to be accepted as the gender they transgendered into... or are trying to.
"As if being trans is the trans person's fault in some way" No one is born a transgender, and I guess you're not talking about hermaphrodites...
So many loopholes here, I can't point them all out.
2) Sorry but if you don't tell me up-front, that's Intentional Withholding of Important Information, thus lying. It's not a turn-off unless you DON'T tell me
3) Agreed
4) Not really, because gay people have really taken that statement back. It doesn't affect them. Those it does affect aren't people you want to hang out with anyways
You try very hard to be politically correct, don't you? And of course you won't say a thing to LGBT people who do much worse things to straight traditional people but we know this is just an unimportant detail for a biological ruin like you and as always a woman. No brains, victim of what's most popular and commonly accepted. Congratulations.
I honestly don't care too much, it's almost like putting labels has become a fad now and I kind of think a lot of people are pretending and convincing themselves they are gay and bisexual just to feel like they stand out of the crowd. There are many who are actually the above things by nature and it's totally cool we should accept them as they are than belittle them and we gotta stop wasting so much time and effort with campaigns, net wars etc, I think in 2016 we are past that phase now
Especially since they managed to keep the quality high in season two. I loved the whackiness of Superjail but then season 2 and 3 weren't as great anymore.
I think it's unrealistic to expect people not to make assumptions about people they've just met or some complete stranger. If they make incorrect assumptions about you, that's not microaggression. They don't have any malicious intent.
Good take, very well done especially on the transgender sections. Really nailed down well some of the things that are insulting even if meant in good faith to us.
I won't do #4 because even gay people use that phrase when describing stuff. How else would you define fanny packs besides "gay"? Not using "gay" to make fun of stuff would limit my vocabulary.
Except you don't have the responsibility to speak your mind. You religious and bigots need to understand what the constitution actually says. It doesn't give you the right to hate speech just like it doesn't give you the right to make violent threats.
It doesn't give me the right to do anything, it recluses the right of the federal government to prohibit my given ability to speak my mind. Voltaire coined the term, "responsibility to offend," in order to detonate the order of submission by the plebs. Ever read Voltaire? There's no such thing as, "hate speech," it's just a term created to silence the plebeian masses - wherein previously America seceded its values to, "loose lips sink ships." Now we have to deal with worrying about offending anyone all the time and using made up pronouns? No. We need to offend now more than ever!
Nope, we live in a civilized society. You can't make violent threats to the government, you can't go around disturbing the peace by yelling hate speech and you can't hide behind freedom of religion to break these laws.
Yeah ya can. It's a civilized society, remember? It may be unlawfull but people still do it because suit is only on the basis of public court. And few have the time and energy to sue over that sort of thing.
1. It is illegal to make violent threats almost anywhere in the world. Try it and see how quickly you get arrested. 2. Only the religious are dumb enough to think being gay is wrong.
No, it's unlawful, not illegal, and can result in a civil court dispute. Words are tricky, you have to prove they were said and meant and the State doesn't have time to prosecute for petty threats. The west is a pretty free environment, unfortunately for you and your sensitivity issues.
I didn't say it was okay to threaten people, by the way, or slander them. I said, "offend."
Okay well I'm not religious nor do I believe being gay is Wrong. IDC what other people do in their own time. When it effects my ability to rationally express thoughts, then I care.

Rick & Morty is fucking awesome. Also loved the episode with the female only planet and silent treatment as punishment.
@FakeName123
Not just that, they touched up on so many female behaviours, some quite subtly, I love it!
Especially since they managed to keep the quality high in season two. I loved the whackiness of Superjail but then season 2 and 3 weren't as great anymore.

Microaggressions are stupid anyway. They're not even real things.

Truthfully o dont handle them or give them special treatment I just treat them the same as everyone else.
Lol you could have just skipped all that writing and said "Be respectful." tbh..
TBH, an elaboration or a guideline to express respect is much more helpful than a mere brief command.
That's generally true but I'm not sure about this case..

How about I say whatever I want, because I have the responsibility to speak my mind in a "free" country.
LGBBTQQIAAP-abcdefg is on its way to an internal collapse, because, like the FBI, as an organization it just isn't necessary anymore.
Good for you sir, and yes, it is a RESPONSIBILITY.

Who said anything about religion?

Wrong. IDC what other people do in their own time. When it effects my ability to rationally express thoughts, then I care.
I handle it by not caring about that junk. Shag what you want, just don't go telling me about it.
You talk truthfully and honesty, and as politically incorrectly as possible.
What does GLBT mean? I can't keep up with all the new synonyms for queer.
Sounds like a new set of PC so one gets
butthurt.
I never even said those things to any of those 'lgbt' people. They usually do announce themselves outloud to let others know first thing.
Love is what matters. If people love each other, then leave them alone.
They are just people. Talk to them like a normal person
you CAN accept people without approving how they live
issue solved.
