Planning The Perfect Prom Party

Planning the perfect prom party can be quite simple as long as you are organized and have a versatile theme. Well thought out prom decorations will make your party both fun and memorable. Of course you will want to choose a prom theme based on romance, love, or excitement. Last but not least, you’ll want to make sure to offer your guests party favors so they have something to remember.

For themes, you could choose a tropical oasis, a Venetian masquerade or a fiesta party. Or you could choose a dreamy and airy theme with a party in the clouds such as “A Walk in the Clouds” or “A Night in the Clouds”. Light tons of candles, and scatter billowy tulle (away from the candles, of course!) along the perimeter of the room and drape it ceiling height. Make sure all linens are subtle in color to maximize the impact of the candlelight. If you have a liberal budget, you can go wild with a Mardi Gras or Las Vegas themes by having laser lights, strobe lights, disco lights or even earthquake lights. If you’re doing a Casino Royale or Vegas Night theme don’t forget the roulette wheels and craps tables!
