@BirdFan360 Nope no sass hidden, I am very well aware of what he wants and its better he knows that is what he truly wants bc lots of people i know never wanted kids but they had them bc it was the thing to do... so they treat their kids like its a chore each day - they love them, but its not the road they wanted. So this person here has realize what his road is like and is very proud of it, and i congratulate him bc it takes guts to admit you simply want to remain single and have no kids, and there's absolutely nothing wrong in him or anyone else not wanting kids. So I dont sass anyone for what they believe, i just said everything to him as a possitive out look of his choice of road he wants and i know he will enjoy.

It's been happening in multiple places, not just there. You should see Japan's liw birth rates. The way I see it, if things don't get any worse those rates worldwide would still be where they are currently at and might still improve, and recover some day but if there ever is a great calamity or cataclysm worldwide, I'd expect the birth rates to plummet even further, if not greatly.

I'd like to know the reason why people are saying this is sad, or calling him stupid, lame, weak, pathetic, etc. Like, really I want valid reasons with no insults. Why is not wanting kids a bad thing and why is wanting kids a good thing?

I encountered a woman on here a while backbvb that was furious that I didn't want kids. Her reasoning, she wanted a child with her every being but was unable to. She was mad at the world and couldn't grasp someone not wanting what she so desperately did.

@Blueeyes81 Delusional people reacting solely based on their emotions and what they feel rather than being rational. Some are so irrational, they believe that if some of us don't want kids and choose to not have kids, then it will eventually somehow cause everbody in thevworld to not have kids and not want kids and we'd all become extinct. That's completely false, the majority of people almost always have kids and want kids. They think we are like some kind of a threat to them all for thinking and/or feeling different about this than they do, so they trying to be the thoughts police or something.

I found out an interesting phenomenon. I asked many people around me a simple question “would you like to be reborn/reencarnated after you die?” The vast majority of people said no. If most people would prefer to not be reborn why do most people want to force someone else to be reborn? I think the Buddhist are right, life is suffering, in general.

See, you're getting it. Everybody ever brought into existence to this world has to go through pain, miseries and suffering and then inevitably some day. And generally, death isn't an easy nor comfy exit out of this world.

I don’t like kids either. Wayyy to expensive and time consuming... I’m expected to have them which blows. If I could have my tubes tied I would.
I can have children around only while someone else is with me. They stress me tf out.

I am a very selfish person myself but whem I got pregnant I took the decision to face this new situation and to become a mom.
I still enjoy the things I love to do, and I actually became a better person. Kids teach you a lot about life when you are willing to learn, it is the main purpose of it.

Why does it matter if you think his reasonings are ridiculous or just excuses? If he doesn’t want kids, then that’s all there is to it. I agree completely with you, OP. I don’t want kids either.

Those people are not being rational about it. They responding and reacting or rather OVERREACTING because of their emotions. They feel they are offended by it just because somebody does not feel the same way or believe the same way as they do. If one has a child there's always that chance that one has to bury one's own child if and should something bad and unexpected happens, too many do not think or realize this is simply reality and not everybody us gonna be willing to agree with this and accept those risks since not everybody wants to take chances with an undesirable and unacceptable outcome that one simply have very little to absolutely bo control over.

I agree on children being expensive nowadays with the cost of everything rising and the amount of money it would take to raise a child till the age of 18 years old. I also agree on the annoying part as I hate when children are noisey and whiny as it gets on my nerves.

I actually never thought not wanting to have kids will ever cross my mind. It did just around this year, and my reason is exactly your number 10. The world indeed is a bad place because of the bad people living in it. Other than that, I’d love to have my own kids and have a big family of my own.

That's what I call a reality check instead of being completely deluded that life, existence, this world is all pleasure, good, fun, or whatever. Too many things, especially bad things just happen unexpectedly and they are completely beyond our control. One better be willing and ready to face an unacceptable and undesirable outcome when one decides to take their chances with bringing another new person into existence, it's not something one can simply change, undo, take-back, rewind, once this life-changing decision and action had been made. And one has to live with that decision for the rest of their life.

any man who has kids or gets married to an American raised woman is not sizing up the situation. If I was younger I would go get a nice Asian or Mexican girl with good values that wanted to act like a woman and appreciated being taken care of and treated well.

I mean, you have your opinion and that's fine. My mom told us that she never wanted children because of the same reasons, but she had us and she said it was so fun. She actually started to like it when we were older.

It's just the way this reality is. Glad someone also recognizes this and not shrug it off as something that's silly, stupid or another "excuse". People have to go through much agony and suffering throughout their lifetime and then they have to die. It's all very deep I know.

Not having children is a huge mistake, Unless you accomplish something trully wonderful in your life.
If your an ordinary person, having a kid is your biggest work that you're gonna be remembered for it.
