Some of the parts of that will be taken care of in the near future, robots will be doing nanny work.
Interesting.
I want 3 daughters still
Good for world population
Honestly I can't take care of plant for more than two days before it dies. Much less a kid!
Don't be so selfish; if everyone thought that way, what would happen to the sex life of priests?
are you referencing what I think you are referencing? Like, the whole "hey diddle diddle with little timmy's fiddle" kinda thing? xD If so, good one.
At least you know what you want.
More like he knows what he DON'T WANT.
@JudgmentDay true.
Don’t want them either
For all the same reasons or any particular reasons? I say number 10 is the one that makes one pause to really think about it deeply on whether one really wants to risk another bringing another new life into this world and thus exposing it to harm and suffering. Most don't think about and then get a rude and harsh awakening when something horrible and unexpected happens to their own child (ren), and then they have to bury their own child (ren). So unless one is completely okay with the possibilities and risks of facing such an outcome and fully understand this, and willing to accept all of those risks and responsibilities, then they really should re-consider and re-assess carefully.
@JudgmentDay I don’t because I wouldn’t want to bring anyone in a corrupted world, I don’t have the patience to raise. a child and it just doesn’t sound pleasing at all to me. I mean once they get to like an age where I could understand and guide the child then that’s different
One is risking the possibility of having to bury their own child (ren) some day if one decides to bring them here into this world. I feel the bad and horrible things outweigh the good things and it simply is unnecessary for another new person to come into this world anyway.
Please check out my latest question, I don't know if i'm ugly.
Understandable
Cool story but you’ll probably change your mind.
It's something I and @JudgmentDay hears a lot. What if we don't change our minds? What is wrong with not wanting children? Society is very judgmental nowadays.
I’m not judging. You do you. I’m just stating you may change your mind. I've seen many young people say what you said and change their mind, I’ve seen many old people say I wish I’d had kids when I could have but I’ve never met anytime who has maintained a stance to never wan kids, never have kids and be happy with that decision.
I'm actually in my mid 30s. Depending upon one's outlook. If one is very cynical, pessimistic, or nihilistic, then there simply is no point in ever having any offspring of their own when they feel and believe that there is no need to ever do so and no point in ever doing so. Offspring is NOT for everyone, even some people regretted their decision to have children and became unhappy and disappointed with their decision.
@JudgmentDay why are you lying about your age?
I don't give my real birthdate out unless I am absolutely required to.
@JudgmentDay that’s not an answer. Why do you portray yourself as 15 years different than your actual age? What is you reason for that or are you just saying you’re in your mid thirty’s to overcome my position that you’ll change your mind?
I know I would never ever change my mind because this reality is what it is and is how it is and it won't change either. What I mean is the way this reality and world is, whatever CAN go wrong, simply WILL go wrong. It's chaotic because there is simply because we all have very little control, if any control at all over whatever happens. Whatever is going to happen, is going to happen either way.
@JudgmentDay and your reason for portraying yourself 15 years + - your actual age?
I told you already I don't use a real birthdate, what is the original date from the Terminator movies when SkyNet become self-aware and unleashes our very own nuclear arsenal worldwide upon us? That is the date I used for the birthdate when I signed up. Look it up. Google it if you don't know what THAT date is, and you'll see why the age is that number.
@JudgmentDay this is an advice website. The advice given is very much dependent on askers and advice givers using their actual age. Choosing a random ”birthday” is one thing but depicting yourself as someone decades oledr or younger than what people perceive is just plain wrong. Maybe you’re a pedophile who feels young people will more likely talk with you if they believe you are closer to your age.
Obviously you did not bother to look it up, it's August 29, 1997.
@JudgmentDay I didn’t care to research how much of a nerd you were. I only focused on your words
“I’m actually in my mid thirties”. So consider yourself useless.
I saved much more money for myself and my future once I forego relationships and having a family. You may think I am useless. But many agree that having kids isn't done so in the best interest for the kids themselves. Have fun gambling away and take chances with another person's life, you may have to bury them one day because unexpected and bad things happen, because you can't know or be for certain it won't ever happen.
Babies and children are NOT ugly.
Beauty is the eye of the beholder and subjective.
They are! They all look like bald, ugly rat-monkeys!
@Cammy137 of course leave it to you to disagree. I’m not surprised
A tad judgmental but hey ho!
@Cammy137 only cause I know your opinions on here. At least some so that’s why it didn’t surprise me at all..
Which of my other opinions would lead you to believe that I would find babies ugly?
Interesting take! I really agree with point 10.
I totally agree what you wrote above
Well i was hungry... thanks. anyway totally agree.
Nice take
Your liniage will die off unless you decide to have kids
I don't care about my lineage. Biological children are overrated in my opinion and what's enjoyable for some aren't enjoyable for others.
Im just stating facts
I know the consequences and I don't see it as a problem.
Lineage only has importance, meaning, or value when one believes and accepts that it dies and more importantly, DESIRES it. Otherwise, what is the point? Lineages can end unexpectedly sometimes too, there are no guarantees they're going to last another generation or multiple generations for anybody at all.
@curiousnorway Agree? I mean let's say you were the last member of your family tree for example and you had a kid, but that kid has a condition and turned out to be sterile and infertile and can't continue this "lineage" any further, and it's something completely and unexpectedly beyond your control. They might never want kids themselves either and then it's back to the same square and the "lineage" still comes to an end one way or another.
Interesting
Thanks for that unsightly picture lol
Interesting take
I agree
