I yelled at a kid and here's why

Saturday I yelled at a kid because he kept chasing this girl after she told him to stop. She ran to me and said ''save me'' so I told the boy to stop. He said ''my parents told me I don't have to listen to you all the time'' I said you don't have to listen to me but when a girl says stop you need to stop. He then preceded to make excuses about why he shouldn't have to stop and I told him she said stop so you stop then I told him to sit down. He goes ''I'm not going to sit down because I don't have to listen to you'' I then raised my voice at him and told him that he was rude and disrespectful to girls and he needs to learn no means no and that if he wasn't going to sit down he needs to go see his parents.

He's the same kid that was kicking a four year old in the stomach and said he liked it.

I also went to his father and told him how bad he was behaving. His dad as usual doesn't care and I was pissed. He literally never takes no for an answer and he is 10!!! How can you have such a jerk or a son and he's not even a teenager yet?? He also decided he would not eat his food and told his mother ''you're going to make me a smoothie'' She told him she was tired and he still demanded that she make him a smoothie because he can't eat the food that literally everyone else was eating. He does that all the time and I don't know how they put up with him.

Later that day he was in a literal river with a strong current after both his parents told him not to go in the water. He kept looking at them and taking steps deeper in the water. Then his parents where like okay but don't go deeper than your knees. Of course he being his usual disobedient self he went further and he's parents stood there and did nothing!! I feel like I shouldn't have to tell them about teaching their son respect. That's their job and if they aren't doing it then what are they doing. He is a bully as well as a manipulative brat who never ever does anything they tell him to do. My 4 month old puppy obeys better than he does!

I'm sick of parents who don't make sure their children behave. It's annoying!! Like discipline your damn kid already!!

I'm the chasing the girl thing is just kids being kids, you overreacted to that. Your tryna say the kids gonna be a future rapist or something because he was doing regular kid stuff that kids do. Kids chase each other all the time thats normal no need to have a emotional breakdown and bring your life trauma into it. Talking about "nO mEaNs No, yOu DoNt ReSpEcT wOmEn".

Now on the other hand kicking a 4 year old is concerning however. If that's true and he did it on purpose. That is an issue that should be seriously adressed and punished, He needs more strict parents, seems like they don't pay him much attention. If he had a spanking once in a while he would be straightened out.

But don't judge the kids whole future on his actions as a 10 year old unless he's Jeffery Dahmer or twisting the heads off chickens and strangling cats he's not that bat. Just a brat like many kids can be. Probably acts that way cuz so many people given up on him. Like you already got him pegged as a future sex offender because he runs at other kids.

I blame the adults and his environment. He'll grow out of it most likely. But He needs someone who is there for him though.

The total disrespect he has for his mother and women in general is showing his narcististic side.
His manners suck and he is unruly. Something bad is going to happen with him. he's a walking time bomb.

No he's in my brothers class which is why I know him to begin with. He pushed my little brother off the swing

this happened when I was a kid and it was all fun and games and play, the girl would then run away laughing... like she really wanted to be chased. I don't read it this way now...

When I was younger as well, we solved "disobedience and disrespect" the old fashioned way. The kid was put in a headlock or pinned to the ground until they said "uncle"... which means they give up. then they follow the rule. We'd fight, until someone won.

So the issue is boundaries, whose the boss? kids are looking to figure that out and society is not providing them.

Kids all over the country are trained like this in schools... there's no negative nor punishment starting in kindergarden. so they are learning differently than we did... with only positive rewards. Tell them no or bad... you are gonna get killed when they are large enough. Ask the teacher that was shot by the 6 yr old. These people may be very difficult to deal with as adults, we shall see.

So some of these kids will be monsters. We will have a whole crop of them and someone is going to have to kill them or be killed themselves. That's reality. There's a reason in the Bible that "God flooded the earth" and wiped out a bunch. Can't fix them at some point.

Your kid is at risk... I would not let them around this kid. Once he's big enough to over power you both, you both are done.

Thank the liberals and whomever put these policies in place. Take action to change this in your environment. And arm yourself while you can. What can you do to him... you touch him, you go to jail. It may be worth it to beat the hell out of him or talk the hell out of him by throwing the bible at him, or something, your call.

I see this same concerns with my kids (step), especially the boy. He just doesn't have enough consequences as he dishes out crap. That's bad. What happens is he won't realize he's hurting others. Ex. He was saying sexual things to girls and didn't see anything wrong with it. When called out, instead of listening, he defends. Undisciplined males will abuse others, especially women. Their women will have to retrain them... in the school of hard knocks and suffering.

So, you will have to equip your kid with strong self defense abilities and weaponry.

You’re right. Just pray for him that he grows up to be a decent adult. When kids act like that more times then not irs because the parents enable it.

When I was a kid there was girls I played with but I have always left people alone who genuinely didn’t like me.

He’s a bully if he’s chasing girls who don’t line him, pushing your brother off the swing, the list goes on. But his parents are probably just worthless and want to bring kids into this world but not raise them properly.
