Why does my girlfriend only text me when she is bored rather than talking to me at other times too?

My girlfriend started texting me when she was bored at her best friend's sporting event, and when it was over she said she had to go and couldn't talk anymore although she very well could. It breaks my heart knowing she doesn't really want to talk to me and only does when she is bored.

My girl does same thing, she only ever texts me when she is not doing something and is bored or something, i don't know.

I am ok with her joing all the things she does, but I have had it with being her call boy, this is her biggest flaw, and the one that gives me the most stress.

She goes all over the place during the summer to camps and things like that I am lucky to get any text from her now, and I am not counting these 5 min texts then she disappers. The worst part is I know she has the time because I see her jump on Facebook, she has gone back into something she did months ago. I am not going to let it get by this time. I have decided I am going to give her the silent treatment from now on for every day that she does not actually try and text me.
And non of this is her fault she has Aspergers so she does not even know what she is doing is wrong, and hurts me, the only part that's her fault is I am the bad guy when I bring it up.

So I am going to add new rules
No politics on dates
She has to text me when she goes to bed so I know not to wate up for a conversation that is never going to happen
And when she goes into her to stressed and wants alone time she has to tell me
From now on for every text she never responds to I will ignore one of hers
And if necessary I will give her silent treatments on dates as well

I'm with you man, my beau doesn't answer a lot so I'd end up waiting hours just to faint and wake up to only goodnight or sometimes nothing... I ignore him until he texts back first, it's working decently so far.

Sounds like another case of a guy being a convenient boyfriend for a girl who's really not that into the relationship. Look at yourself in the mirror. Do you want to put up with that? That doesn't do much for your manliness or self esteem. Stop replying to her 10 seconds after she texts you. Make her wait for it. Don't give her the impression you're home just waiting for her text. Be a man. Man up.

whoa texting is over rated! things get blown out of proportion! your girl might think she is annoying texting you all the time. my guy is def not a big texter he'd rather talk on the phone.. if its really a big deal to you then you should tell her how you feel.. if you relationship is good other wise then the texting isn't a big deal. enjoy talking to her in person and call her instead of texting to make plans to see each other.. or send her a cute text that will get her attention even if she doesn't respond right away she will apreciate it
