A "friend" left me drunk at a bar, is still ok to be mad?

For Halloween my friend and I went out to a popular bar in town. I blacked out that night, I'm not a big drinker and my friend is well aware that my alcohol tolerance is very low. Well according to my friend I made out with a guy she had been flirting during the night. Yes I admit that was a bit bitchy of me to do and she was rightfully mad at me but I was extremely drunk that i do not remember it and I would have never done something like that. My friend then decides to just up and leave me at the bar, I realized she was gone after I went looking for her and ran into a mutual friend and asked her if she had seen our friend and that's when she told me she had left. If it wasn't for our mutual friend there I wouldn't have made it home. To clarify, our mutual friend later told me that the guy our friend had been flirting with came up to me and saw how drunk I was and just started kissing me (don't recall any of it). Should I still be pissed of at this said friend? I mean every time I think of that night i keep going back to the what if's; what if our mutual friend wasn't there? what could have happen to me? I clearly understand never to get drunk like that again. So please don't berate me!

Hell yeah, if she hasn't apologized and wasn't at all sorry for it. I don't even care if my friend went and banged whatever guy I was flirting with in the bathroom - I would never leave her alone at a bar, drunk. It's not safe. I'd care more about her than some random guy I just met.

Also, I think you should continue putting "friend" in quotes in reference to her - she's not a true friend and I wouldn't trust her anymore. Who leaves a girl friend at a bar by herself? No, just no.

She did apologize the next but only because I called her out. I agree, I mean it sucks losing someone you considered a friend but she completely broke the trust I had in her. I only used the quotations because I haven't spoken to her much since it happened but we were extremely close before the incident.

You were drunk if she was your real friend she would know that and not ditch you. Real friends don't let petty things like guys get in the way of friendship or ya know being decent enough to take you home so you were safe and not alone.

She isn't a true friend and probably has always secretly hated u. Thankfully you were ok that night, but this situation was a blessing because it showed you who your real friends are. I would never hang out with that girl again. There's no excuse for ditching your friend!
