My boyfriend asked me not to tag him on fb pictures that we are together?

so here it goes... we had a very pretty picture with a Christmas tree "very couple-like" - then I asked him offhandly if I could post it to fb.. and he basically said no..

his reasons: as we know most people from work (we work in the same company but different offices) - he won't feel comfortable about it.. (fact: everyone from work knows already that we are together - so I don't get it)

also: he posted all the pictures that he took while he was with me, except the ones that I was there... which made me feel really small.. I felt as if he was not proud of being with me? or embarrassed about being with me?...

in his defense: he is very kind to me.. calls every time he promises too.. very affectionate... and I don't think that he is trying to hide our relationship with coworkers - as he even holds my hand in front of them...

am I being petty?... or does it really boils down to the fact that he is not yet ready to announce to his family and friends that he is with me.. we've known each for a year now and has been going out since then...

Maybe he doesn't want everyone on Facebook to see? How long have you been together?

I feel the same way, because I am a private person. If I meet a guy, and it's early on, I won't upload the photos to Facebook. Why? I don't want all my FB-lurking friends to start gossipping behind my back, asking me about "him" 24/7.

Don't get me wrong, I'm seeing a guy now who I have no problems holding hands with in public, I just don't plan on uploading ANY pics of us for at least a few months.

Or maybe he uses Facebook as a way to share photos with those who are tagged? Whereas he could show you yours whenever and wherever?

I have just had the same problem, and have told him that he needs to step up if he wants to be with me, and acknowledge me as his partner.
2 days later, I am still waiting.. seems it is a commitment issue. no really other way to look at it. My guy took a panoramic shot of the place we went to and posted as if he was there by himeself. We had a big arument and after that I just said nah, this is not working for me.

Maybe he's just private, or doesn't want people in his business, or maybe the relationship is new and don't want to post pictures then have to take them off if something happens. When I just met my boyfriend we waited a few months before posting pic of the two of us. Still watch him carefully though, but it sounds like he treats you well so think positive. If you seem to eager men have a way of feeling to important.

nope, he's not private.. that's the thing.. he uploads everything - it's his way of updating his friends and family back home.. he even used to have a blog..

the thing is - when we were still not official - he had no qualms of tagging me in his photos now that we're together - suddenly I am just a ghost in his online life?.. I can't seem to wrap my head around it...

this is a tricky one, because you won't want to seem over anxious for this to happen yet it insults you, I think anyone should be proud of their girlfriend or boyfriend. He wants to appear single for any potential stray that may come along, whilst you maybe in love with this guy this calls for you to be smart and know that you are worth more.

If he were really into you and the relationship he'd want the whole world to know.

being able to post 27 pics without a single one in me is pretty hurtful lol.. can I laugh and cry at the same time :)... this is those times that I either close my eyes and fool my eyes or be strong and face the truth... at the end of the day - reality is a simple thing... thank you for your thoughts - I appreciate it...

I ever post our pictures and tag him I asked him

he said OK you can do it's make me happy,

And finally I just noticed that he hide it from everyone

!

if I comment or send him stuff he doesn't delete it...

he just never respond it ...mmmm

he is a freaking liar!

now I hate this guy already
