Housewife- Because she has more time to spend taking care of, enjoying time with, nurturing and teaching her children until they're of school age whereas a working mom had less time with her children both when she's at work and at home where she still has responsibilities and more guilt about things she misses out on by being at work, they're only little for so long, enjoy as many precious moments as you can...

Amazing answer from miss brains, you forgot to mention that when the king of the castle returns home, he will get kisses, hugs, delicious fresh homemade meals and for sure the MUFFINS are always available π€€
The warmth in the house, the noise of the kids playing around, all these combined together makes a "HOME SWEET HOME", these days we can only see this sign in tom& jerry and that's if kids channels still airing it...

We are no one to judge. It's the choice of the couple. But it may be easier for a housewife to bear more kids coz she doesn't need to go to office leaving the kids behind.
Working woman may want to have less kids becoz it's difficult to manage multiple kids as she needs to go out to work11 Reply- +1 y

@Barbaric housewives donβt have the Money to be pretty. Keep in mind that being fashionable , buying new heels all the time , makeup , beauty products , lingerie , getting nails done is all expensive as fuck
So unless your husband makes a shit ton of money to pay you a wifeβs allowance , pay for all your purchases and support your 3-4 kids then youβre fine.
Otherwise itβs the working woman who can afford to be pretty cus she got the money - +1 y
@Arabella_Rose
It depends on your priorities I guess. I work, my girl stays at home with the 3 kids. Our priority is the kids. The people who obsess over the things you just mentioned are usually no good as parents anyway, too self-centred and materialistic. Besides, you can look good without doing those things anyway. A lot of people exaggerate with those things. - +1 y
@Arabella_Rose you forgot that if the wife is going to work than she's going to pay a sh*tty ton of money to help her husband which means we're back were we started π

@TonyMetal___86. I grew up in NYC where career women have always been respected along with working mothers. But reality is , most families in the US cannot support their kids without both parents working.
Itβs best to do what is best for your kids. I was raised in a family of 4 kids , both parents working , and my parents really struggled and pinched pennies to raise me. They sacrificed a lot to raise me. Even so, It was no fun and I definitely missed out on A LOT. I gave up attending a great college that I worked so hard to get into just cus I couldnβt afford to pay tuition. Trust me , that is the worst feeling ever to a kid who has worked her ass off to lead a better future
Itβs best to take your childβs best interest at heart. If you want a housewife, have less kids. Do what you can afford. Better to raise 1 kid well than to half ass raising 3 kids.
If you want 3 kids , she should be working at some point when the kids are older. Or you should be working 2 jobs to support the family
Cost of living is rising in the US while salaries are still the same. Money is becoming a huge problem - +1 y
@Arabella_Rose agreed miss arabelle, that's what i meant, live your life as much as you can afford, all what matter is for the family to take care of each other and be there for each other...
The housewives in the U. S and everywhere in the world should be supported and appreciated...
The old traditional lifestyle was the best, where the woman felt maximum happiness and pleasure and men were real men and were always respected, loved and served by their wives and the kids grew up in happy families where there was always time and family time was always the 1st priority... - +1 y
@TonyMetal___86 I respect everyoneβs preferences. But you cannot generalize that all women are happy as housewives. Iβve know many women who really dislike being housewives. Rather than forcing people to commit to lifestyles they hate, why not accept the fact that different people will have their own separate opinions?
I think working moms really do have an advantage when it comes to divorce. Relying on a husband financially to survive really relinquishes a lot of power a woman has over her life. Housewives would be less likely to divorce An abusive husband or a cheating husband simply because she will have a very hard time finding a job. Not having worked in the past 10+ years doesnβt make you more employable.
There are benefits and disadvantages to all situations. Be considerate of all of them - +1 y
@Arabella_Rose who told you that i'm not, i'm only speaking of myself and surely i don't want all women to become housewives π
Anyways what kind of a husband will beat his housewife or cheat on her after she gave him all herself and he became her everything...
A man cannot use his power over his girl jusy because he's the one earning money and without him she dies from hunger and being dumped on the streets.. NO NO!
No matter what happens the wife stays in her husband's house because after marriage god made them one, they might fight or argue or yell at each other but the husband will always feed his wife and the wife will always takes care of her man and in the end they will find a way to kiss and hug and get along π - +1 y
@TonyMetal___86. Imagine if your wife was abusive as hell and cheating on you? Constantly is yelling at you?
Would you not consider a divorce?
Just cus youβre married , it doesnβt mean you will be happy. Anyone should always have right to divorce a crappy marriage - +1 y
@TonyMetal___86 not all couples have a way to kiss and get along. Itβs way more complicated than that. Sometimes certain people or things cannot be fixed.
- +1 y
Problem is that when one spouse has ultimate power over the other, it often ends up in a lot of abuse. She wonβt be able to stand up to her husband. If she wonβt do the things he demands , then she can have her allowance stripped. Her husband has the ultimate say in everything cus he is paying for everything. She canβt insist on where she wants to go for vacation cuz sheβs not paying for it right? She canβt insist that she wants to send her son to tutoring cus her husband is too cheap. If the meals she makes doesnβt taste good, her husband can treat her poorly and disrespect her anyway he wants. why? Because he knows that she will never leave him. She canβt survive on her own!! She canβt even hire her own divorce lawyer.
Not all husbands are kind. When you give people too much power , abuse often occurs - +1 y
@Arabella_Rose i agree with you but as you said that not everybody are like that, for example i'm not like that...
My future wife can decide with me, it's true that i'm paying for everything but she's me and i'm her... i can never do something that makes her sad and she can't do something that makes me sad, maybe sometimes she will listen to me even if she doesn't like it but i won't forget it and next time i'll listen to her even of i don't like it and that's how it works...
You must never forget that it's true that i'm her life and everything, but who'a making me happy? Who's making my house clean and tidy? Who's making my clothes clean? Who's making me meals? Who's giving me a goal in life? I bet that all these things are better than all the money of the world...
A housewife ain't a slave, she's a flower and a princess, a housewife does everything for husband to make him happy and respects cause she loves him more than anything and not because she's a slave!
In a real marriage, a man can never use his power to make his wife miserable and to torture her and make her committ suicide or something aweful like that... a man will make sure that his wife is treated the way he wants to be treated, if the wife is sad than he's sad and if she's tired, he will comfort her... etc, he will treat her the way she's treating him...
A good devoted housewife will make her husband a king and a king can never accept someone less than a queen...π - +1 y
@TonyMetal___86 well in the ideal perfect world , nobody should be like that. But we live in real world where all kinds of people exist. In the ideal world there would be no homeless people or murders or terrorists or war, no poor kids starving, no babies that die in infancy. but this stuff happens in the real world. You canβt jusf say for yourself. We are looking out for women as a whole.
- +1 y
@TonyMetal___86 a woman who becomes a housewife is one who is relinquishing all her rights to herself as an individual. Itβs her choice but just be wise about it
- +1 y
@Arabella_Rose and in the real world, you can't talk in general since people are just different and we must take chances, sometimes we win and sometimes we lose, at least i know myself and i hope to find someone like me... is it hard tbh and say the truth?
- +1 y
@TonyMetal___86 you donβt have womenβs best interest at heart. You have your own best interest at heart.
- +1 y
@Arabella_Rose as you wish π
- +1 y
@TonyMetal___86 thats the problem with most guys who want housewives. Many of you ultimately care for yourselves rather than the female gender as a whole. Not saying all of you but the only reason why you want a housewife is so that you can have a subservient woman who is ok with
bossed around the house, being controlled and have absolutely no right to stand up for herself.
A push over woman who can tolerate his temper tantrums and his lack of respect.
My father was somewhat like this. Only problem was that he couldn't afford to raise his kids without his wife working.
Many people think that housewiving is all rainbows and roses. Its really not. A lot of abuse and financial problems occur within those households.
Most working mothers nowadays would love to not work. Nobody likes to go to work everyday. But they need to support their kids to the best that they can. - +1 y
@Arabella_Rose if everything that i said to you and everything i explained to you came up with such results than there is nothing that i can say to you anymore, it seems i was talking to myself all the time because your answer it seems you haven't understood a thing from what i said...
A man cannot stop his wife from working outside if he cannot provide at least a shelter and food for his family, also the wife have to handle her husband's anger and all emotions wether she's working or not!
A wife is there to be with her husband in sickness and health and in rich and poor, not only in the good times...
Love can be revealed in harsh and hard times...
The majority of women these days wishes to become housewives, i myself would love to be at home and never work but i accept that i'm a man and i musy work hard to provide and thank god i'm still able to provide for a small future family...
Some men will treat their wives like sh*t while their jobless and their wives have high positions in their careers and make their lives a living hell...
It's all about how a man was raised and the way he thinks and in what he believes...
A housewife ain't a subservient, if she's my slave than i'm her slave too! What do you call someone who's working hard to provide for his wife, feed her and clothe her and taking care of her!
It's not a shame if a wife respects her husband's decisions, even god said that the husband is the head of the house and family...
The wife takes the man's family name after marriage, why? Because he leads and she follows and not vice versa... - +1 y
@TonyMetal___86 I think its simply due to the culture that you were brainwashed as a child. I certainly do not believe that a woman should have absolutely no say in anything over her life. I think a woman should have a say in how her children are raised or where she wants to go for vacation, or if she can go pursue whatever hobby / career she wants, or she can have the right to pick what she wants to eat for dinner.
Most women have no problem letting the man take the lead but when we feel like we have absolutely no control over our lives, it makes us feel like children rather than women.
I think that all women are different and everyone has the right to pursue the type of life that they want. We need to respect every person's preference. There are pros and cons to being a housewife or working mom. There is no perfect role.
But as a woman, i naturally would watch out for the female gender. I think its very important for a woman to maintain her education and job skills in case the marriage heads for the worst. It would be a terrible thing to force a woman to stay in a miserable marriage simply because she cannot survive on her own. A woman who cannot support herself is similar to a man who cannot brush his teeth or cook breakfast.
- +1 y
@Arabella_Rose i cannot cook breakfast but i can brush my teeth π
You know what, everytime i explain to you, it seems that i'm talking to myself, you just keep repeating the words about a woman's freedom as if i was treating a woman as slave or making her less than a human...
If your brain is having trouble to understand what i'm saying than it's not my fault...
Have a nice day! - +1 y
@TonyMetal___86
Yea well move out of your parents house. Lets see how you will survive without knowing how to cook.
Let me be honest with you: You only care about yourself , not your wife. I grew up with a father who constantly bullied my mother. The only reason that she never divorced was because she was a pushover, had no education or career prospects.
A wife being bullied by her husband is of no concern to you because you're a traditional male. Traditional men place their needs above anyone else in their lives. Its definitely not a turn on.
Anyone that you cannot dominate or control, you will be unable to take on as a partner. - New +1 y

- +1 y
There is a give or take in everything. If you want to be a housewife , you will need to miss out on having more kids. If you want to work 2 jobs to support more kids , your kids will be missing a daddy. If you are going to be working mom, your life will be much more stressful.
You canβt have everything - +1 y
That's right, i'll do what's the best for all of us, it means that if i can afford for 2 babies, than i'll have 2 babies, also it depends on what kind of a lifestyle you want to live...
- +1 y
You probably wonβt even be able to afford 2 babies. Remember that your wife is an extra child you have to support. So 2 kids plus a wife means 3 kids
- +1 y
Remember that besides feeding and clothing your kids , there is also their future college funds , new computers xboxes phones every few years, maybe tutoring or extra curriculars. You wife will also need a personal allowance , money for household food, household repairs. Donβt forget saving for retirement.
Taxes , mortgage property taxes.

You can say you are capable of that but as a guy who cannot even cook himself breakfast, I honestly doubt you have enough life experience and maturity to truly understand how much money it takes to raise a family. By not knowing how to cook, you are showing you have never lived independently
- +1 y
If i don't know how to cook, it doesn't mean thati don't know a thing...
