Do you think I'm rightfully angry at my father?

Back in 2020, my dad over injected our dog, he's diabetic and we had to take him to the vet clinic where he had check ups and fluids etc, which cost $450, so as my family didn't have that kind of money in cash, I paid for it out of the money I have saved the last few years from work. He said he would pay me back. Then, something went wrong with the dog again a procedure that cost another $329, so I had to pay again from my own money. Fast-forward a year and my dad is flat out refusing to pay me anything back, my mother has forked out $50 of her own money, which is scarce for her, as she has to care for him. Now he promised he'd pay me back $5 a month, he instead when I asked him if he was still able to do this, began screaming in my face and called me a "cunt" and a "little prat", he used to threaten to knock me down as a kid if I'd intervene on behalf of my mother who he'd begin yelling at for no reason. Then he brings up stuff about me it being an awful thing, if I don't trust my family. I'm starting to get really pissed off with his attitude, I'm nearly 20 and the money that I paid out was going towards projects of my own. Have any of you got any advice on how I can tackle this? He overbuys at the store, buys himself stuff and then says he can't or won't pay me back $5 a month.
