Are we right to be worried about my brother's ex girlfriend messages?

He broke up with her several months ago for jealousy and trust issues. Once in while, he receives insulting messages on his fb from different accounts.
Then 4 days ago, he received a missed call from her. This was what the voicemail said ''I swear you're gonna regret breaking up. I love you so much. You're mine. If I can't have you, then no one can. Just remember that''.

Guys, how would you react if an ex girlfriend left that message? Are we right to be worried?

Call the cops. And as somebody said, get a restraining order. Nobody has the right to threaten or do anything that isn't warranted. If your brother broke up for jealousy and trust issues, it is not HEALTHY, to begin with. Both of them just don't sound normal. And that sadly becomes his problem. HOWEVER, she made a personal threat to his and others' lives, and therefore, anything he had to do to warrant for him to leave her and she either gets a fair warning or God forbid she is in jail with the need for psychological and mental therapy. I don't care what a person did. She cannot play God and she is literally threatening his life. You are right to be worried and get be prepared for a lawyer to be involved not just the cops, and getting somebody at the county office to find out what steps needs to be taken. Make sure you have that on a recording. Because she doesn't sound normal.

It's an open threat but threat from a girl who loves your brother beyond her control.

I'd tell her that she is harassing me and if she doesn't cease and desist I'll get a restraining order that will be on her record for life. She will likely smarten up and finally realize that she's taken things too far.
