My friend buys everything I buy and wants everything I want?

I feel like my friend is trying to keep up with everything I do. Every time I buy something new, even if it’s just like a new lipstick or dress, my friend has to get one the next day. It’s with EVERYTHING I have/want not just clothes and makeup. It’s my accomplishments too. She kinda one ups me saying she did it first or she’s gonna do it too. Why does she do this? We are both 25 by the way
