Are you quick to call everyone you meet a friend?

Real friends understand you , they don’t try and change you , they’re there through thick and thin as a support system, there’s communication, there’s trust , there’s respect , and lastly there’s compatibility that makes up a good friendship. I don’t call everyone a friend based on my own personal experiences in the past where I was betrayed, lied too , played on my emotions, stabbed in the heart, dealt with fake people , they deceived me , tried to change me. and talked about me behind my back. I’ve let a lot of people go including 10 and 15 year friendships. I’m thinking about changing my number so they can’t contact me anymore. Granted no ones perfect , but finding someone with good intentions nowadays are hard. There are something’s that can’t be granted second chances regardless of how long you’ve been knowing them.

I have very few friends and they are people I have known since childhood. I had people that I thought were my friends and thought they would be in my life forever but one at a time they all drifted away.

I had 6 friends, 3 from my neighborhood and three from where I went on vacation. Two are dead.

Here is the way I see it. Yeah I might get hurt but I might not. I give people the benefit of the doubt until they show me that I can't

Everyone I dealt with has hurt in me in some way thus why I’m solo and a loner.. unfortunately.. I have yet to find a true true friend

I mean, all my friends have hurt me at some point but it happens in relationships. My own wife has hurt me and I am sure I've hurt her. Question is, is the hurt they caused egregious enough to sever ties. In my case most of the time the answer was no

When you’re stabbing me in the back , betraying me , lying to me, playing mind games, and be deceitful that doesn’t call room for a friend Idc how long I’ve been knowing you. I’m gone and it’s forgiven, but it doesn’t mean we’re going to be friends. An argument or disagreement isn’t grounds to end a friendship between you and that person unless you can’t see eye to eye. No ma’am once you start crossing lines and doing malicious things I’m gone.

Somethings can’t be dealt with no more. If I don’t hear from you from time to time I’m gone. Like I said it’s a lot of fake people out here and I’m finding bit are to find supportive and real friends

All of my child hood friends are gone because they are fake and couldn’t accept me. Not skeptical just leery of who I deal with nowadays
