One time when I was younger and hanged out with my dad on Halloween he got me a costume and took me trick or treating for the first time when I was 10 but my mom get angry with him for taking me. A few years ago she even got mad at me for going to one of my friends Halloween parties

Sounds like your mother might be the sort of parent who has really strict rules, I am very sorry if your life is really limited but hey you are fifteen. You only have a couple more years left until you become a legal adult woman who can make her own decisions.
Growing up I also had really bad strict parents too, but I recommend trying to compromise with your mom and figure out why she doesn't allow you to celebrate Halloween. If she still doesn't let you celebrate this holiday you can use it as a reminder if you ever had children of your own in the future on what not to do.

Only willfully ignorant religious crazies belive its about satanism and summoning demons... granted she's following the king james bible which was made to rule his people via the church and it tells people to ostracize and throw stones at pagans and those who question his word & rule via the bible. It also makes up bullshite about paganism being with satan or some bullshite along those lines. It's why you have churches like the Westboro church that attacks & harasses people
That's funny. It began as a pre-Christian Celtic holiday with ideas that are not dissimilar to Dia de los Muertos. Had nothing to do with Satan. They simply believed that it was the day when the veil between the living and the spirit world was thin.
The Catholic church co-opted it and called it the the Eve of all Hallows. The next day was called All Souls Day or All Saints Day. Those holidays used be somber and spiritual. It was a time to remember those loved ones who were no longer with us.
In recent times, Halloween became increasingly commercialized. Trick or Treat became a thing. Costumes and parties were popularized. But at no time was it a celebration of Satan or witches, other than through the wearing of scary costumes by some trick or treaters. I mean, seriously, there are fairies, princesses, movie monsters, cartoon characters and super heroes, too.
