Normal for young boys to walk in while opposite sex family is showering or bathing or getting in or out of shower or bath or depends on family? (Page 2)
Family dynamics. Any one needs to have/ be taught boundaries. And this goes for both sexes. As soon as kids become curious they need to be sat down talked gently to about privacy and boundaries. At least in my opinion.
I think it depends on the age of the young boys. If they're like "young and curious about the body" aged, then I'd say it's perfectly normal. If you're talking about like a 9 or 10 year old, then no, that's not normal.
This was not allowed in our family. We had a men’s room with outdoor scenes etc. the girls had their feminine bathroom. We could use either bathroom, but the girls spent hours on hair, make up, you could not get into there. If you needed to go, you had to go somewhere else. We built our men’s room to solve the problem. Made women lift the toilet seat after they used it, after the big deal about closing the seat in their bathroom. Lol
Depends how young we are talking about. Around the age of 6-7, they should be aware that they shouldn't do so, otherwise you should teach them. Under that age, it's likely they don't see why it's a problem. (And as a mother, you likely walk in on them too to help etc.)
My thoughts would be whatever was “Normal “ for the family. With some breast feeding mothers wanting to breast feed for several years. I would think that the human body in that household would be less taboo. Probably like some other things. The more wrong you try to make it things. The more that person will need to try to do it.
Yes, I think that very much depends upon how do you live as a family. Some families are very reserved about being naked in front of each other that other families are completely relaxed about it.
Depends on family and culture. In many families nudity is no big deal. And in many countries mixed occupancy in saunas is common. @singlebimom what are your feelings on this?
Depends how demonstrative the family is, many families are open to nudity, and others it's completely taboo. Would never have happen in my family for sure.
if were talking our family members no unless there below the age of 5 our wife/girlfriend yes its normal (you added family in there so not sure what you mean)

It is normal in my culture, but I know it isn't really acceptable in western countries.
I don’t have siblings, but my family has always been very comfortable around each other

I think that's normal. But not young girls with men
My sons and i snd daughters do
I have a son, and he never ever saw me without my clothes on. My bathroom door has a lock.

@singlebimom what are your feelings on this?
I see two questions here: the first one "is it normal?" and the second "is it depend on?"
For both the same short answer: Yes, of course.
Depends how demonstrative the family is, many families are open to nudity, and others it's completely taboo. Would never have happen in my family for sure.
Normal yes. Don't let the little shits tell you it was a accident. Believe me I know because I used that excuse when I was younger

in our home no one locks the bath room door, but everyone knocks and waits
Family culture plays a dominant role in such matters.
Normal in my family. My brother knows to knock before entering lest he catch me in an awkward moment like pooping or... other stuff
It is normal for their curiosity... but it is also normal if they think nothing of being naked in front of family.
Not in my family, but in some families it can probably happen and they wouldn't care.
