What was your childhood nickname?

Never had one. People TRIED to give me one, and I threatened to injure them if they did. One kid tried to nickname me "Bubba Lips" in the 6th grade and I beat him up just for attempting to do it. It was also a low-key racist remark from that white trash loser, as well.
Long story short, I had an abusive childhood and the last thing I had tolerance for was stress in school as well, so I often put the kibosh on any attempts on that REAL quickly. I put up with zero sh*t in school, especially being an athlete and all. And yes, I know this story took a dark turn that most others on here probably didn't have.
Gooey
Dare I ask? 😂😂😂
Slang for Gary
I like it.
I would named you giraffe. Did you wear pink a lot? Pink Giraffe
Yeah, I did.
pink giraffe is better than bean pole. Straw would be better than bean.
I was never offended.
gag pulled my Stern question. What was wrong with it?
Thanks mho, I guess Gooey did it
"Ling Ling"
I spent my early life in Chinatown, with my Chinese immigrant family. They called me by the name they WANTED my mom to name me instead of the Japanese name my father gave me. Being born in 'Murica, where people actually have middle names, "Ling" ended up being my middle name instead of my first name and boy am I grateful for that.
"Ling" is now dropped completely from my name, off the records. Dust in the wind.
Sounds like a happy ending!
Ni, Miha, Neha, Niha.
Miha 💕
You know it?
Yes ☺
Thanks for the mho!

"Little Toot". They told me because I farted a lot as a toddler. Hey, I swear, it was their fault for feeding me farty food.

Do they still call you Little Toot?
No, like most people you outgrow the name.
Butch, because I used to always give myself a buzz cut. My dad said that back in the 50's they called that haircut a "Butch". When I would cut my hair, he would say "he's giving himself another Butch". My brother pointed at me and yelled "Butch" and the rest was history. That was about 30 years ago and my friends still call me that haha
I like that story.
Um where do I start from lol 😅. Yeah so my nicknames which is Permenant are Apple, Apulu and Afu. My classmates call me bipolar. My cousins call me penguin. My friends call me Gadhi (female donkey in Hindi). My dad call me "Apuluuuu oh my Apuluuuu" normally or "Afu!" when in I get bad grades in maths 😬. My mom call me "Afu" or "Apple". There are many more but for now I remember this much.
Apple sounds sweet.
I had a few. I sort of floated between various groups in school talking a bit with everyone, then there were my friends around home.
What was your favorite nickname they called you?
That’s tough. There were some good ones. My one friend was highly addicted to star wars. He’d call me “Obie-wan”, as I was always sharing bits of knowledge I’d read about.
Sweet. Nicknames can be endearing. 💕
Yes. That is very true.
I can’t write it in my language bc you won’t understand it lol but in English I was called from family “ sugar ball” or “ dimple pie “ because I was chubby and also have dimples
I love dimples!
That my friends will go with me to the grave along with all the family members who uses that nickname. Muh-hahahaha!
Hmmm... There must be a way to find out!
"Chuda" what means skinny one. Around 16 people stopped to call me that way, despite I'm still skinny like in my teen age.
What language is Chuda?
Same as my old username here. "Juicy". Coined by my brother because I would only drink orange juice. So I became "Juicy Jessie".
Cute!
Thanks! Most guys think there is another reason...🤣🤣🤣🤣
They're always hopeful! 😂
i was always called princess since im the only girl in the family and i have 5 brothers.
Nice!!!
Well obviously it was donkey lol, no not really. Never had a nickname as a child.
I didn't think it would be Donkey.
I did. When I was in elementary school it was Bean (sometimes String Bean or Bean Pole). I was the tallest and thinnest girl in my grade.
Mine was 'Shockie'. My Mom and sister and step father called me that. Even as an adult my sister still called me that. I never found out why they came up with that name to begin with. 🤷🏼♀️
I had a few, but Kirby was the one that stuck up until middle school, then when my anxiety got worse and speech got faster and my tone lowered it became Boomhauer
Then typically Boy by my old man.
Never really had childhood nicknames that I liked. Of course throughout highschool I was called unwanted nicknames.
Oh no! High School can be so brutal.
It is okay! I survived :)

Me too 😊 Did you enjoy visiting your grandma when you were little?
Yes. It was like going to camp. lol
I bet it was fun lol My grandma always made home made dessert what about your grandma?
Not so much. I loved to cook or bake new things, so she would turn me loose in her kitchen (no rules) and gracefully taste anything I concocted. 😂
I bet she loved your creativity lol
Has always been Baredog (long story)
Okay 👿

Thumper.
Um... Whyyyy?
I was a distance runner when I was growing up. Initially I just wore high tops to run in. Everyone could hear thump, thump, thump as I ran because of the shoes I wore. That’s how I got the nickname.
😂 Ok, heavy shoes.
Do you still run?
Not by choice lol
Uh oh! 😳
It’s ok though. I stay in shape in other ways.
That's important. I used to jog for exercise, but now I walk.
Me too. I also lift weights and do cardio in other ways.
So can we still call you Thumper? 😈
Sure. Lol why not?
