Chaitu is short version of my name. (except there is no U. My parents added it as they found it cute to pronounce and hear)
*Sona means gold
*Sonu is something that also means sona but this term/nickname is used by people for their girlfriend or children, lol) You will notice how many Indians have nicknames that ends with the letter U or Y. They find it adorable, lol.
*Billi means Cat. They had many funny reasons to call me that

I already have a family nickname by which my close family members and relatives know me. It also has a beautiful meaning. Bengali families tend to keep beautiful names as first names but if that is a long complex name they add a simpler nickname to it.

My brother used to call me 'haddi'. In Bengali bon means sister. And bone is, well, bone in English and bone in Bengali is Haddi that's how he came up with it. XD

That's it! I mean, I am already given a family nickname why would people call me anything else?

Lol weird nicknames but funny. Ever since I was a baby my aunt has called me"Cheesecake" she says because I was a skinny baby and my diaper use to always sag and she called my butt crack a cheesecake, its weird ik.
