If your mother and father are both of different ethnicity/race/nationality, which one do you tend to identify more with?

If I were mixed 50/50, I’d likely identify as whichever I looked like from appearance. A lot of my friends and classmates would identify as black since their skintones showed more melanin then not. I’d only tell people what I’m mixed with if they asked. As for nationality, I’d identify as whatever country I lived in the longest

Well, my mom is white, my sad is japanese and black. I usually just say I’m white because I look white. If people as, I will explain I’m mixed.

Depends on the country I live in or which one is cooler.
Obama identified as African American instead of a white Kenyan.

My father is of Italian decent and I identify with that more than my mother's heritage which was Finnish.

Since they are both born in the same country and are themselves grown up with the traditions of the country (a mix), rather than a specific tradition... there is not one to refer to.
So I have a nationality identification rather than a ethnicity... actually there is true blend in their country and ethnic groups share attitudes , foods and the like. :)
