Nope, I've never even personally met someone that claimed they had been raped. Rape is rare. The statistics are drastically inflated as can be observed by how few convictions there actually are. Defensive wounds, ripped clothing, and DNA evidence will leave little doubt in the minds of a jury. DNA evidence is pretty rock solid. The large majority of people that get raped know the perpetrator. So possibly if you know a lot of raped people, maybe you're a rapist...

A little disgusting thinking about it. She was 16 and he was 48 with a wife/family. She gave up custody to her parents so my mom was raised by her grandparents. Im just happy and grateful that my mom was born cause without her I wouldn't have my life so in a way I'm thankful yet disgusted too

Dang that sucks but I'm glad you're able to see some positive to it. It seems like your mom knew this guy right or did she find out the details after? Did this guy get convicted at least? She was even underage. I don't know what possesses people to do shit like this.
