I wouldn’t go. I’d most likely just ignore the messages. And I’d potentially just block them, depending on how bad the situation was.

Thing is, I don't think this person has many friends so for some reason, they see me as their close friend... but I beg to differ.

She's two faced. Will talk about others to me whilst being really friendly to them.
Also, she never liked it when I used to go to lunch with another co worker and would sometimes bitch about her behind her back.
She's also very nosy which can be annoying

Oh yes! Someone that gossips about others to you then what much more are they saying to you behind your back to others. Yes be careful and you have the right to slowly withdraw from the friendship and find others that are not nosy.

Yeah that's what I think too. Sometimes I wonder when someone is being nosy-is it just that they're concerned?

Some people truly care and just want to know. Which is good to pay attention to what people tell you about others, it says a lot about their character. If they are going around telling you or others about someone's personal story or something they heard then they gossip about everything. I like to keep quiet to what people tell me about their personal life. I like that they can come to me and trust me
