This is probably a basic question but it's got a bit of history
So i met a girl few months ago hit it off really well, we nearly got to date but kept as friends. I introduced her to my friend group later and she became rather good friends with all of them pretty fast
Thing is this is where I retained feelings then got insecure, I told a friend a while ago that if they were to date I'd leave the friend group out of courtesy as I don't want friends falling out over something like that, he understood my concerns and didn't want a fight over anything trivial either
I told this to another friend who I then learn told my crush what I said after i told her not to, so for the last month we've not really spoken while they got very close as she was very hurt by that as well as "other things", we're slowly building back up our friendship but I'm not best pleased with the friend for that.
We fell out over something a few weeks later so me and this friend aren't talking, and in all honesty I know it will be brought up. Currently for new years they've organised a meetup across the country to meet a friend the one i said that to, and then I've been asked to meet them few days later on the 3rd of Jan, I've left them to it as it's her fridt time meeting the friend group in person but I'm fairly pissed off all of this has been brought about because of miscommunication
A few short weeks ago she said we're going to have a big talk but then decided against it as it'll cause further fights in the friend group, she then said further it's best if we just let things heal naturally on their own which I've done, and that's one reason for why the last two weeks we've been speaking more often, short friendly conversations though
Anyway, what do I do about this mutual friend? I'm angry so I do want to say the friendship is over, but I know with this friend group it's going to be complicated, and I just don't want drama
