Is it wrong not to tip in this situation?

I was at the pizza 🍕 place yesterday afternoon. I paid for expensive pizza. The waitresses didn’t even serve me like she was doing with others. She didn’t refill my water, I had to go ask for a doggie bag. No friendly costumer service like she did with the others. All she did was bring me my food and she wasn’t friendly in doing that

When I went to the counter and asked for a Doggie bag she made a face at me and gave it to me. She was also on her phone

I had racist workers slander me and try to get me fired at my last job, a lot of people are unhappy inside and take their anger and frustration out on strangers who have nothing to do with the cause of their suffering, be kind to her and walk away, let God deal with her and you.

I did walk away but I wrote a company review and explained what she did

Most tip based on service. So no not wrong. But I’m also someone who does tip; but the amount is based on service. And the majority of places I go to always have excellent service. But no not wrong to withhold a tip

It is sad that poor service seems to be the Standard these days. You should tip, only because these servers are paid so little. There is nothing wrong with leaving a note at the table saying that you would have tipped more if the service had been better.

If you felt that you were being discriminated against, you need to bring that up to management.

I don’t do that anymore because people are corrupt and I have experience of management screwing me. Instead I usually write reviews because when you do that people get exposed for what they did. That’s the good thing about reviews and if they decide to take it down you write a yelp review

I don’t get the whole tipping system in the US. I’m assuming that’s where you are anyway. You shouldn’t have to tip if you don’t want to, you’re paying for your food. Is the restaurant’s responsibility to pay their workers.

My mother in the past used to get on me for not tipping. Where r u from?

I’m from the UK, it’s not required to tip here
