I feel like my mom doesn’t want me to see my boyfriend. I haven’t seen him in two weeks since he had Covid. He tested negative twice now. She’s worried about me potentially bringing it over here but I’m vaccinated and he’s been negative for over a week now. Anytime I want to see him or leave the house though I have to ask her. It doesn’t feel fair because my brother never had these issues. I don’t have a car or my license like he did so I don’t know if that’s a factor in it or not.

Parents tend to be more stricter on daughters then sons. Yes it sucks and is not right. I hope your mom lets you see your boyfriend. Sge seems like she is trying to keep you guys apart

She’ll let me see him but she sounds annoyed about it. Like I know I have responsibilities at home and I’m trying to stand by those but I don’t want to be stuck in the house as it’s very depressing to deal with

I'm glad she lets you see him. I agree staying in the house is depressing and sucks. If you have home responsibilities like chores and stuff. I would get them done so I could see him. If it was me.

I have been but it’s just like she’s not pleased with it ever since she found out we’re active. She wants him over here to get to know him or whatever but she doesn’t even talk to him she just watches how we interact when we’re with each other which is different when we are in the presence of my family compared to my boyfriend’s family. We aren’t openly groping each other or anything sexual but we’re usually a lot more relaxed and natural with how we interact like being cuddly and stuff. Half the time we just want to take a nap or watch tv or something but my family isn’t about the whole close thing. My mom got upset at us one day because I was laying on top of him trying to go to sleep. We weren’t trying to be inappropriate or anything but she took that as a red flag or when he first came over he put his arm over my shoulder but his hand was touching my breast to them. Most of the time he’s been over here he’s been either yelled at, confronted, or talked about to some degree. He’s cried over it several times because all he wants to do is be able to be with me with no judgment of it and it’s the same for me. His family doesn’t get upset with me over things like that like but my mom seemingly does. I’ve been trying to gain her trust but it’s really hard to when I don’t know what she wants from me cuz in most cases she she doesn’t give me a reason for her being annoyed besides he should be coming over here when she knows there’s nothing to do but watch tv really and that’s only because we have nothing else to do over here and we get bored easily when it comes to watching tv. Once I lose interest he loses interest we’re left with nothing to do.

That sucks that she is being strict on you like that. Just try to do the best you can. And she shouldn't be judgmental with your boyfriend like that since you guys are not doing anything. I hope one day it changes where she fully trusts you. And at least your trying to gain her trust fully. One say she might change I hope.

Mom's always get worried. Plus if you're under age then she has more to be worried about or maybe she doesn't trust him
