I feel responsible, will my friend get better?

Last week we were working on a school project. Then we reunited with some other friends.

The reason I feel responsible is because it got colder that day and he placed his thick blue jacket on me, didn't want me to take it off. He kept saying he'll be fine, that it's not that cold. I got dropped off at home and then he left with just his thin, long sleeve.

He caught a cold a couple days ago and now he has a slight fever. I'm going to return back his jacket and was thinking of making a chicken soup.

I know clearly he was cold but he kept putting on a brave face, saying it's not cold. Ok he placed his jacket but at the cost of catching a fever himself. Now he's sick because of me. I feel responsible.

I stood in a snowstorm for 2 hours with no jacket because a tiny girl who was with us literally had nothing but a tank top.


I didn’t get sick, but if I had it would not have been her fault.


So, no. It’s not your fault.


Helping him feel better while he recovers is a nice way to pay him back for helping you though.


Look up a recipe for oldschool cough medicine if you’d like to be impressively helpful. (The one that looks black is the most effective and actually tastes good)

Make him a tea with honey and peppermint mixed together, it works better than cold medicine

That's actually why they started saying Prayers because If they didn't do certain Things The dead would Rise from the grave and Come home.
