Why will my baby mama not let me have my son over night?

My babymama after 3 years and literally nothing but positive visitations still wants me on supervised visitation and doesn’t want me to have him for more than a few hours. I have no record and she can’t even give me a reason why other than saying “she doesn’t trust me” why is she doing this?

This isn’t nearly enough info to form a fair opinion, and tbh I feel like there’s more to the story in order for her to not only refuse letting him stay the night but saying she doesn’t trust you. That’s a big accusation. Anyway, if you feel she’s acting irrationally or unjustly then take it to court.

If you have had positive visits then a judge should decide that you get overnights with your child. Your wife ultimately will not be able to stop that unless you are violating something during the visitations. So make sure you file for overnight visits if you want them.

I find it comical that these bitches feel like a man must earn trust to see his child but women don't have to dot he same. The double standard is real.

Get a lawyer, take her to court, force her to respect your rights to be a father.

Check out a group called tfrm.. The fathers rights movement. There is a chapter in every state. They can help get you set up with legal resources.

Worthless mothers should not be the gate keepers to seeing your child. Not unless you were abusive or a drug addict.

But at least in my experience, which is limited to the woman who caused my best friend to kill him self, withholding a child from a loving capable father is a power play by the woman.. Your experience is way more than mine. But i have known fathers including my best friend who killed them selves because of false allegations and parental alienation. In any case he needs to hash this out in court. I hate when people side with the mother like 100% of the time.

Our courts in my area have really shifted towards showing no favoritism to women except with very small infants, since a father can't breastfeed a baby.

@OlderAndWiser Thats florida right? I kind of want to move there.. Here, a boy, who was raped, and fathered a child, was not only forced to pay support for a child of rape, he was also permanently denied access to him. This happened when he was 11 years old, and the rapist was his baby sitter who was 22. My state DEFINITELY favors the mother over the father. Even when extreme abuse and neglect are proven by the courts, they would rather give the child to the state and foster care over a father.
