Why can't men and women just friends? Can anyone explain?

I dont think i ever grew up with the intentions of seeking male friends. These “Friends” usually came about because they were guys I liked and wanted to keep close, or guys I rejected but they didn't want to move on so they settled for the friendzone lmao. I dont even seek friendships anymore unless I’m into the dude and trying to carry out some grand scheme of one day becoming his girlfriend 😂

I never had a problem with it. Growing up, I had more guy friends than girl friends. But these days with this friends with benefits crap, it’s ruined the meaning of “friends” . In my day friends weren’t someone you had sex with🤷‍♀️

I, too, have had female friends who were just friends. I guess it's a problem only if you view the opposite sex as having only one purpose.

Me neither. But from experience, there’s not one man I’ve ever befriended except the gay one, who didn’t come onto me. So I find I’m pretty and well dressed and outgoing and I just seem to attract men. I think some of them are desperate.

Haha i was joking with my comment tho, nah me myself have a lot of female friends. However i know most of friends end up having sex or being a couple, well i guess the reason is obvious.. most people can't control theirselves after some time later and just get their attention on their friends.
