Would you leave a wealthy but overprotective family and start life on your own in a new city?

I wouldn’t say that I can leave my family, I studied abroad and lived in 2 different countries, I can still make new decisions such as living far from my family but it doesn’t mean that I leave them. Family is important, for me, they mean everything. In a world where you can’t trust anyone, family is a blessing, they’re people who will always love you unconditionally.

actually i was brought up to be overprotective i grew up isolated from the public and that makes me think sometimes but i felt more free when i was away from them

I would absolutely! If only to get away from the family. I moved as it is to try to make my own name. I have four older brothers all of who are very respected men in their communities. So finding a way of my own was hard. But it has worked out.
