Do you have your baby names planned out?

During pregnancy or after delivery, did you change your mind on the name you thought you would use or did you know what name you wanted for years?

And how did you decide on a middle name?

We decided against knowing the gender, but we had picked out names - I wanted the first name to be easily pronounced for most, I've people butchering my name on a daily basis & remember how much I hated it but he did choose those. (Of course I had a veto right but it wasn't necessary)

Second names were Icelandic and those I had planned for years, it was the names of my maternal grandparents and it was important to me they had a Icelandic name too.

I did give her the name we had decided for but I don't really connect it with her - I only knew her as "little bean", so for me that is her name.

I had the middle name picked out for years I had always wanted my baby to have my mum name if the baby was a girl and if the baby was a boy the middle name was going to be my dad's name

but the first name I only had picked out half way through my pregnancy but than towards the end of my pregnancy I started to really like another name and I considered naming my baby that name but the moment my baby way born and the doctors asked me if I had a name I blurted out the name I had picked out half way through my pregnancy

I think a middle name should be a special person in your family like your mother or grandmother (father or grandfather for a boy). The first name something sweet for a girl and something masculine for a boy.

Not necessarily but I got plenty of time to come up with them tho, not to mention I can't be the only one making the decision so in the future

I always had a few names then waited to see what they looked like. With my 4th son I was calling him one name for the first few hours of his life then decided to change it do a different name just cuz the first name didn't fit him

Dont give up hope. I was told I wouldn't ever fall pregnant or have my own biological children and years after being told that news I did fall pregnant naturally.
