What do you do when a narcissist takes your friends for themselves even though you made that investment into your circle before they came in the pic?

Narcissists can convince anyone that they're a good person and a worthy friend. If they're smart friends, they won't buy into the lies this person told. Narcissists take, take, take, and when they don't want what they took any longer, they find something else to take.

These friends will have problems with this person soon enough. A narcissist presents themself as a kind, loyal person at first, but after they become comfortable with others, sometimes their true colors start to show. Some people, they can still fool regardless. They're tricky people. Any smart person would see through this. I lived with a narcissist for 4 years. If it's one thing a narcissistic person hates, it's people calling them out on their lies and deception.

I would never worry about such a thing. Because people cannot take your friends. If someone does they were never your friend to begin with or you were never a worthwhile person to know in the first place. You sound very controlling.

Let them! If this person is truly that bad. They'll eventually see through it. Toxic people state toxic and they'll eventually realize it. And if they're true friends they'll come back to you.
