Have you ever wanted to befriend a person close to the narcissist?

This narcissist is a flying monkey and friends with my ex from my last relationship. I dont talk to either of them but this narcissist has two sisters who are always friendly to me. I would become friends with his sisters if it wasn't for them being siblings with him. This narcissist was friends with my ex and knew the whole time he was cheating on me. The sisters feel that I'm too short with them but honestly is because I can't stand their brother. I feel avoiding them is in my best interest as they are related and he's talked stuff about me. He tells them rumors about me so they don't talk to me because I know he cheats on his wife. He's so manipulative and always needs to pick the people around him. He even picked one of his sisters husband while the guy was interested on another girl. its insane how controlling and manipulative these people are. Of course he wouldn't want me to befriend any of his family members because he sees me as a threat.
