I have a memory of being in the car with my grandparents with the windows down and this car next to ours with all these clowns in it. It was one of those cars that had a back like a pick up truck. I remember there were maybe 6 or 7 clowns, and a couple of them were waving to me, and I waved back.
I don't remember if it was a dream or not. My grandmother used to take me to the circus and they always had really funny clown shows, and then the little doggies that would stand on their back legs.
I would seriously ask your mom about what you remember. Sometimes what you think you saw is EXACTLY what you saw. When I was 3 years old, my mothers car broke down and we hitchhiked, and a few years ago, she was talking about this car she had that kept breaking down, and I said "Was that the time we hitchhiked?" and she said "How did you remember that? You were 3." I'm a writer though, so my memory has to be sharp.
But what you saw is probably something your mind hid away and now it wants that memory to come out because the mind does that.

I only found out years later it was real. I have this very blurry memory from around 4 or 5 of being locked up in a dog pen with my sister and two neighbor kids and a guy just pointing and laughing. I also vaguely remember the fear I had. For years I never knew if this was a dream or real or a figment of my imagination. When I was in my thirties my oldest sister mentioned about being locked in the pen and he would only let her out after my mom started hollering from the back porch that supper was ready. She then said we'd been locked up multiple times but never said anything to our parents because he threatened us. Apparently he did this to all the kids in the neighborhood.

Oh wow I’d flip if I found out someone did that to my son.

Looking back at my childhood it makes more sense now. I was afraid to be separated from my mom. I'd cry all day when I started school, I'd cry when I'd be dropped off for tball practice. Basically anytime my parents would leave me somewhere I'd cry the entire time. I never wanted to be out of their sight. So it all makes sense now.

Yeah, a couple of them. Mostly having to do with things I could've swore I saw on t. v. or in a movie!
One real thing was that I remember going to bed one night and this particular night took FOREVER to end!! I remember going to bed and then getting up to pee a few hours later and going back to bed but, the next time I got up to pee it was still dark out!! Quite a few more hours passed before the night was over!! It felt to me like night came and the Sun forgot to come up the next day and we were in darkness for a solid day & a half and nobody else seemed to notice it but me!! I kept waiting and waiting for night to end but it never did!! At least not for 36 hours!!10 Reply - Anonymous(25-29)1 y
I have a blurry memory of a train that had derailed very close to our summer home. I was never sure if it happened for real or was just a false memory or a memory of something else that I turned into a derailed train. However I actually asked my grandmother about it the other day and she confirmed that yes it did indeed happen.
10 Reply Unless the movies and tv has fooled us - I have heard you can do hypnosis and you are able to remember those blurry moments. Hypnosis by a psychiatrist or psychologist I think.

not really. All my memories that I can think of, I'm sure are either real or dreams, but I know which are which.
:o I do have one, but it's weird so I won't post it. I've always wondered how/if that was real or not. So I guess I change my answer to yes. :D
10 Reply jesus that’s terrifying, i’m so sorry!! yes, i have a memory from when i was about 8 years old of a bird flying into our house and my parents having to get it out, but my mom and sister don’t remember it.

Nope, I can't remember most of my childhood, just all the trumas, but if you ask, only ask your mother

Honestly if the answer is yes I’d rather not know. My best childhood memories were with my 80 year old nanny. She was the best. Once she slapped my feet with a flyswatter and it would crack me up.

Then don't ask ha, I have no comment for you getting your feet smacked with a flyswatter but seems like a good memories and I guess maybe replacing them with bad ones isn't really a beneficial exchange

As time passed by memories fade and we question ourselves was it even real? Did that actually happened?
