Do you get angry or sad if your friends forget about your birthday?

This year was it for me. Basically all my so called friends forgot my special. day. Does it make you angry or sad?

It sucks when the people close to you forget your birthday. That happened to me back in 2020 when the pandemic was going on. All my friends forgot it, definitely felt hurt, but the older you get the less it starts to matter in all honesty.

Shit happens and there are always eorse things that can happen.

Yeah, happened to me once years ago when I had some pretty shitty friends. Even though it sounds pretty immature to be upset by that to some, we're only human so I feel like it's okay. Not upset about the lack of gifts, but the fact that I felt like I wasn't important enough to remember.

I don't even know my friends or cousins birthdays and they don't tell me cause they don't want to obligate me to buy them a gift. They also have husbands and kids so their birthday party is their husband and children.

It only makes me sad if my man forgets because he is the one that is supposed to love me. But anyone who doesn't wish me I don't wish them on theirs..

Doesn’t effect me I don’t even know any of my friend’s birthdays of the top of my head even the one’s I’ve know all my life I’m 100% sure they don’t know mine either of the top of they head never the less none of use celebrate a pointless day like that

I've had 2 birthday presents. One, a girl gave me a hand job at Lake Powell when I worked there when I was about 25. Two, a girl I liked that spent time with me showed up at my door step with a card and stuffed animal. We went for a ride and I never saw her again. Turns out she was married and in the air force.

Not particularly. I’d probably just buy myself three double bacon cheeseburgers, two medium fries with ranch, some kind of dessert probably ice cream all from Carl’s Jr. , hang out with my cats and be happy with that.

The only people who remember my birthday are my immediate family and the odd Facebook "friend" who got the notification. So basically every year no one remembers and it makes me sad.
